I am unable to sync my iphone , using windows computer.
This is the only issue I have so far. iPad sync's just fine, but iPhone won't. I am using an older Win 7 machine, so I was kind of blaming that, but if you are on Win 10/11 and it doesn't sync then maybe it is just a iOS bug. I was able to do a backup in iTunes for each device.

Does the remote for the Apple TV on the iPhone working for you?
works for me but if going through control center, it takes you out of CC and it opens the remote as if a separate app - definitely not as quick or smooth as it used to be. I wish they still supported the remote app.

Thank you both. I never knew that.

We’ll, 24 hours in and I’m actually enjoying iOS 16 Beta 1. I haven’t experienced any bugs so far. And the refinements are very nice indeed.

Edit to add: I still think the new wallpaper picker looks like a cheap copy of something from Samsung or Huawei. Maybe Apple will improve it with the next beta’s.
I hope they refine the wallpaper selection. I would like to be able to choose some of the included wallpaper for the home screen and use something different for the lock screen. For example, I like a picture of my daughter on the lock screen and the new wavy wallpaper for the home screen. The only way I have figured out so far to do this is to download the iOS wallpaper and apply it that way.

Not seeing that. Just pops open.
Also works well from the lockscreen.

Seasoned beta user but am going away a couple times this month so trying to be slightly more cautious this year…

But seeing lots of people saying how stable this is… so my question is, is anyone running this on something as old as a XS? (Very excited to finally upgrade to a 14 this year ovi 🙃)

You’ve managed to get a fully functional circle on your batter widget! Well jealous
Hmm, I have been trying to get the battery widget to show the full circle - minus depletion of course. All I see is a "half moon". Weird. Is this what everyone else is seeing?

The only issues I've noticed so far are:

iPhone:
1. the Lock screen will change colour (darken a bit) randomly making the image and icons look off (might be a dark mode bug)
2. the occasional springboard error but no issue.
3. changing the wallpaper doesn't update the wallpaper screen until you go back out of the screen.
4. The usual wallpapers (phone-specific or iOS-specific ones seem to all be deleted)

iPad:
1. Stage manager messes up the keyboard quite a bit (flickers, closes, switches) that one I made sure to report because it's quite bad.
2. stage manager can cause certain apps to lag
3. Safari copy and paste sometimes doesn't pop up, have to close out and reopen it to fix it.
4. game performance is definitely worse for now but that's expected

Watch:
nothing yet

MacBook:
nothing yet

For both iOS and iPadOS, copying from one app to another brings up a prompt asking us to allow or not allow the paste and it asks every single time which gets... annoying - no way to disable it… I miss the little banner notification

iPhone 13 Pro here, feels hot 4 hours after installation /indexing should be completed by now/ ...especially when using ANY other lockscreen than the one that got through from iOS 15.6b2 (no widgets).

I reckon these widgets won't be usable, they will drain the battery as they're constantly running and checking GPS etc, for some reason iPhone can't to this effectively and runs hot in my experience.
It might get polished in the later betas, but the battery life will suffer like it did with dynamic backgrounds...and them backgrounds had no widgets, they just moved... now with fancy widgets and adaptive weather changes backgrounds... this is gonna crush batteries like never before imho... I'd like to proven wrong here.
Experiencing the same (warm/hot iPhone near the SOP - esp with the new lock screens; less so for the "one that got through"), but I'm not as down on the lock-screen widgets. I think they'll work it out in the beta cycle.
