iOS 16 Beta 1 ― Bug Fixes, Changes, and Improvements

Noticed when filling out the CVV, there’s two options for selecting Apple Card or Scan Card and you can’t screenshot it since those options would be censored. I don’t remember if this is new

There is a new SOS indicator if you have no cellular signal

Going to chalk this one up as a CarPlay issue instead of a Maps issue since it seems to work fine in the phone alone, but Maps position freezes during routing.

Voice will still announce the proper turn when it gets there, but the visual map may be miles off as the position simply does not move.

Guessing it is some sort of beta or memory issue. Again, routing works fine on the phone by itself…music on CarPlay is fine, phone calls, fine, Teams meetings are fine….Map routing is frozen (not always, but enough).

We’ll, 24 hours in and I’m actually enjoying iOS 16 Beta 1. I haven’t experienced any bugs so far. And the refinements are very nice indeed.

Edit to add: I still think the new wallpaper picker looks like a cheap copy of something from Samsung or Huawei. Maybe Apple will improve it with the next beta’s.

I’m noticing a slight battery drain and it slightly heats up more than usual while in use.

I'm hopping off the Beta train for now, back to iOS 15.5, as Teams was just too unusable for me when I was working. Will still be watching though and hop back on when Teams is willing to play ball :D

Working fine for me on 13 pro max

Sporadically crashes, sometimes when scrolling, sometimes when sending a message. Twice in the middle of a meeting.

iPad Pro 5th gen, 12.9. Using my work login details.

I’ve seen in other places that the MS apps are fine when not using personal, but using business/enterprise MS apps are crashing.

It’ll no doubt sort in a new beta or an app update.

I know I read about this in an earlier post, but I am getting an incomplete battery circle. Did someone figure out how to fix that?

I am not sure if this is a bug but I hate that I can’t change the font color of the symbols in the top, camera and flashlight.

Also no issues for me on either my IP 12PM or iPad Pro….had multiple meetings and chats while driving today.

I haven’t seen that yet. I’m on a 13 pro

I had to learn how to do that with moving photos under iOS 15. You’re right it’s not easy but it is functional

This problem is caused by the font size. Adjust the size and you'll get the full ring.

Am I really the only one experiencing major wifi issues. 7 devices (iphones, ipads, ATVs, homepods) all broken wifi, and won’t join any know wifi in multiple locations, when manually joined it drops regularly and private relay is missing in icloud setting on all devices and likely part of the causing….

Everyone is having no issues with wifi?
