I think the now playing UI on the iPad has changed a bit. Not sure if I like it.

Umm, I don’t really see any change. But I’m hoping Apple decided not to bring Lockscreen customization to the iPad because they plan on revamping it.

Hopefully they go back to utilizing the bigger screen of the iPad.

Is that just on iOS 16? I have a flight in my calendar on my iOS 15 devices and it's not there.

Lock Screen still won’t “hide” widgets behind wallpaper objects.

Both macOS and iPadOS will not play audio on their internal speakers when using an iRig Pro I/O.

I notice that it gets a little hot when it's in my pocket, but when I take it out and use it, it doesn't. I will be attentive to see how it evolves, but I suppose that even in the background it will be doing things.

Mail no longer works, shows message list but just get a blank screen when trying to view any. 🙁

Update:

Workaround: Turn on Complete Threads in Settings.

works fine on my IP12.

Do a hard restart a couple of times or reinstall the beta if it persists.

That was in beta 1

Mine didn’t have Stages on the main sleep page. I had to tap show more sleep data and then select Stages instead of Amounts.

Weird. Had the update totally downloaded OTA and showed "preparing update". Drove back to my office and now I am re-downloading the entire OTA again.

I started the OTA download/install process and set my phone down. Checked on it after a little bit and found it was completely powered off. At first I thought maybe it was in a reboot so I let it sit for about 10 minutes with no change. after that I did the button combo to force a restart.

Came up ok and seems to be working normally so far. Just never had that happen before.

Mobile sports betting apps still do not work in beta 2. I assume that's an app problem, but they cannot verify location.

Unfortunately, the battery widget on the Lock Screen still flickers for a split-second when Face ID unlocks the phone. (On the iPhone 13 mini, at least)

Was hoping that would be fixed.

Not sure iMessage mentions are working correctly… doesn’t look like the contact’s name appears bold when they’re tagged in a message.

Assuming that’s a bug and not a UI change. It’s nice to see the name in bolder font when someone has been tagged.

It would be for the installation of the beta both on the mobile and on the watch, because it is already colder than an ice cube hahaha
and the weather app seems to behave as in ios 15, let's see if it continues like this.

The 'unread counters' for Mail are no longer sliced vertically when first opening the app in B2 like they were in B1. Here's an example from B1 and then from B2:

Merging duplicate contacts in the Contacts app actually works in Beta 2. Not sure if anyone has reported that yet.
