Anyone had an issue where Safari automatically scrolls down to the bottom of the page on Google search results? It keeps happening each time I go a Google search and is super annoying. The moment I search for something after the results page loads it jumps down to the bottom of the page.
Opposite for me in that when I search, click on a page/result, then go back to previous Google search results page, it puts me back at the top of the page, so I have to scroll all the way until I find the spot where I last left off instead of it returning me to that particular spot like normal. Very annoying.

I am unable to turn off phone call ringer on my paired Apple Watch. The watch continues to give sound even after the toggle for sound is switched off in Watch app > My Watch > Phone.

This has been happening to me on 15.5 and now 15.6. I’ve only had it happen with the larger “Sign into Google” screen that now takes up about 1/3 of the screen. Google are getting increasingly desperate to track me 😂

Yes, you cannot pick a wallpaper from the Apple Wallpaper Gallery for your home screen only. You can only pick a photo from your own photos. You also cannot add the blur effect. Hopefully they are adding it in one of the upcoming betas.

The whole set up is very confusing at this stage
It's very weird that nobody is noticing this, even Apple blogs who write countless articles about every single nitpick;)

BTW an only workaround is to download Apple wallpapers from somewhere into the photo library, and then setting it as any other photo. Of course dynamic tinting won’t work.

Everything works as expected except the keyboard. I do a lot more errors when typing. Anyone else?

Yes and I experienced this on iOS 15 as well. I type 110wpm at a computer, so I’m naturally very fast on my phone as well. Never had an issue with so many typos before [ever]. It’s as if the keyboard lags or something. I’ve even had to go as far to turn off the character previews when you hit keys, I find I can be a *little* more accurate if that is turned off, it’s worse if left on. I wish they’d fix this, I’m so tired of having to backspace or continually edit posts and messages.

Scroll above to my previous posts. What you are asking to do *is* possible. You can use an official Apple wallpaper on the Home Screen and whatever else you want to use for the lockscreen.

Both my iPad and iPhone 13’s KB is sometimes fine but frequently can struggle to keep up. Seems like I have to wait for it to catch up. Been using voice dictation as a workaround which has its own issues.

This is my first time trying the public beta. Can someone educate me on what the usual update schedule has been for iOS betas in the past?

At least I’m not alone. This should be a beta 3 issue.

Are you all seeing this when tapping keys individually or using QuickPath (slide typing) or both? I didn’t think QuickPath could get much worse. I was wrong.

probably well known but adjusting volume is broken on my iPad Pro. if i use control centre it doesn't seem to do anything. i need to use the physical buttons to adjust it. can't replicate it on my iphone 12 PM.

I’m not sure, I hate the slide typing because it’s never been very accurate for me and I’m not really interested in the learning curve I guess.

Haven’t experienced this issue. I wish there was a feature to disable the home bar. Like literally what is it there for? We know where to swipe our fingers, I don’t need a reminder of where, lol.
I wouldn’t mind that but when it disappears for me, I can’t swipe up to go home or unlock either.

Wow that really sucks. That would be a bug that had me reverting to iOS 15. Maybe turn on an accessibility feature to help you so you don’t have to restart each time to get it back?

When it works it's much, much faster.

The "trick" is to make sure you're sliding enough; it's very easy to not slide far enough to the right or left leaving the AI/ML inside the phone to try and guess what you meant to type. For some reason, as with Siri, Apple's AI is extremely bad.

I'm with you. I know a lot of people swear by it, and I get the hype, but for me personally it's one of the most counter-intuitive hills I have ever tried to climb LOL.

I have never needed to type that quickly on my phone. And if there is something that requires to me to type at such a speed, I just take an extra minute to switch to my laptop and get it done even faster anyway.

I'm not an iPad user, but using slide typing on a larger tablet screen like that makes a lot more sense to me than using it on a smaller screened phone. That is something I would actively try to learn how to do properly.

And it’s autocorrect has a real nasty tendency to think you are always typing proper names.

But when it works, it’s gold.

Has anyone else’s HomeKit/cameras stopped detecting that they’re home, and now you’re getting bombarded with notifications that the cameras are detecting someone, when you’re clearly home and it’s you they’re detecting?
Is this still happening after the beta released yesterday?

How? Please make a video. Be that as it may, the UI shouldn’t be so bad that someone with 14 years on iPhone who wrote an actual print book on iOS just can’t figure it out.

I agree that it is awful and confusing. I just wanted you to know that it’s possible if it is something you really preferred.

Navigate to Settings > Wallpaper and there you will see “customize” under both homescreen and lockscreen. To add Apple stock wallpapers you need to click “customize” and then “add new wallpaper.” That brings up an option window where you’ll see the Apple wallpapers and a bunch of other things.
