iOS 16 Beta 4 ― Bug Fixes, Changes, and Improvements

Looks like the MagSafe battery Pack issue is fixed! constant charging, no problems like not recognizing the battery pack

They should either rename those buttons to „add new theme“ to make it clear that u r about to add a new wallpaper to the lockscreen and Home Screen or change the behavior of these buttons.

I guess I don’t understand what is being asked anymore then. I have no issues doing it both ways, here are my experiences. I can have Apple stock wallpapers on HomeScreen or lockscreen and I can have different photos for both.

There used to be “depth effects” and then something like “perspective zoom” options for wallpapers like the fish? I am only seeing “depth effects” as an option now. Has this changed, is it the same for everybody else?
 
Getting a few resprings while viewing YouTube on full screen and pulling the control center panel, safari transparent background on tabs, updating to watch os thru iPhone app the password prompt circles turn black when pressing numbers to totally disappear, mail doesn’t put the read tag on some mail’s I swipe to mark as read, so I have to do it twice.
iPhone 13 Pro Max.

At least the last beta problem when I entered E and get stuck in that without getting 5G or LTE, until a hard reboot is gone.

The biggest issue with wallpapers for me is the fact that when I go to Settings/Wallpaper/Customize the Home Screen wallpaper (right) it forces me to pick a new Lockscreen wallpaper. They should hopefully fix this before public release or there will be a lot of confused users.

Try a restart after an install. I do after every update. Probably in my head but seems to clear a lot of issues that others have.

This just makes no sense to me. Why give users the option for widgets then turn around and force them to use one of those widgets to see charging progress at a quick glance…?

Not really looking for an answer from you, just venting 🤣

This is comically large on the 13PM. Why not make it smaller?! Makes no sense to me.

Not sure if this has been mentioned, but on PB2 I cannot set different wallpapers for lock screen and home screen. It appears that I did on the set up screen, but when I click out of it, both are the same.

Oh ya, I forgot they name it that way. It confusing, and MacRumors labels them “2nd public beta” etc.

I thought I remember they used to name them differently as well.

Well…that’s not how this new fish wallpaper has worked out for me this time. Hasn’t popped up yet!
