Connectivity on this beta with dual SIM has been trash for me.

Primary SIM keeps losing network, a soft reset fixes it for a while and then it reverts back.

I’ve also also found down and upload speeds much lower compared to the same handsets running latest stable iOS.

Is this new (Lock Screen control for specific input device)?

Not sure when this started, maybe recently or a couple of betas ago. Optimized battery charging doesn’t seem to do anything anymore. Even tho enabled the iPhone 13 charges right up to 100% within a couple of hours or so. I put it on the charger usually at 1130pm with about 20 to 30% charge left and by my first pit call at 130 or 200am it is fully charged. I generally just unplug at this point. But it used to work as it should. Anyone else notice this or perhaps it’s just my phone which has had other issues so nothing surprises me anymore.

Weather apps are likely to be off by couple degrees or so, as no matter what app you're gonna use, it's going to be based over an area, not exact to your precise point, so it depends on how they report that. My mate's house, under 1/4 a mile away, the thermometer he has in his garden, which was the same make as the one I have in mine, reported slightly different temperatures.

Tl;dr - Weather apps might be a couple degrees off. Only way to have the precise current temperature is have your own thermometer. Obsessing over the app having to be exact is just the gateway to madness.....
Except when it's raining and the Weather Channel app accurately shows that but the weather app says it's sunny... only on ios 16 so far...

Is the moon supposed to switch sides? It went from the left side of the screen to the right, but the image used for it has remained the same. It hasn’t changed for me.

No it shouldn’t. They need to update it. Today for me it shows waxing gibbous which is correct but the icon is wrong.

FWIW, my little “physical mnemonic” for remembering which is which: Waxing: moon looks (for these purposes) like a “D” (I.e., the curve is to the right). A waning moon looks like a “C”(I.e., the curve is to the left). D is “bigger” than “C” so the moon is getting bigger when it looks like a “D”.

I now return you to your regularly scheduled programming.

I like that. In any event, that moon looks like a “C” which is waning but in fact truly is waxing since we’re not quite full yet. I think they went new to waning but called it waxing. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Indeed, there’s something peculiar about that. I downloaded the Public profile from Apple and it is saying that. Not mentioning “Public Beta 3” or anything. I am starting to believe that they uploaded a dev version of the fourth beta with some modifications. And strangely, since it was a beta version, it didn’t notice about fifth beta. I am going to restore it with iTunes now. 3u tool is very handy but i didn’t liked this flashing 😅

When an apps does something like this I offload the app and reinstall it. 9 times out 10 that sorts the issue. If it doesn’t, I report it.
When it loses access to your Apple account is called respring? Happened to me at least 3 times in 2 days
