Overall so far B4 has been good. There are certainly still bugs to be ironed out. Biggest one I’ve notice is when shutting down the iPhone, the background doesn’t blur so it’s a jumbled mix of regular screen and shutdown screen. Sadly can’t take a screenshot as if disappears when you try.

I’m on iPhone 12 Pro Max

Does anybody know if there are any Twitter accounts to follow that tweet when a public / dev iOS beta is released? Would be good to follow somebody on twitter and set a notification, for when they tweet.

Siri and Dictation both now working fine this morning on my iPhone 12 Pro Max. They were not working all day yesterday after the update.

A good one I follow is @AppleSWUpdates

They get the info out fast, almost as fast as our very own @Banglazed does here on the MR forums. I have notifications set up just as you suggest you'd like to do.

Just jumped onto the PB. Have the default wallpapers that Apple provided under “Wallpaper” in the settings app gone completely? There used to be a set of default wallpapers that you can choose from.

So now you can only use your own photos or their preset lockscreen like weather, astrology, emoji etc?

Sometimes when picking up my phone and FaceID tries to unlock, the screen flashes black, then wakes back up, but with lower brightness, then finally unlocks. Anyone else noticing this?

I just noticed that the lockscreen no longer shows the battery charging progress when you wake the screen. How annoying. This would be especially convenient to see on an Always On display. I don’t get Apples decisions sometimes
Yea noticed that on PB1 (which I’m still on). Posted in iOS 16 speculation thread wondering if they will bring it back or force us to use the large battery widget in order to see it from the LS. Hope they bring it back 🤞🏼

I believe this was the case in beta 3 for me as well (but am not sure, which is why I am posting here), but are others finding that using the "remind me" feature in mail doesn't actually hide or move the message out of your inbox? Is that how it is supposed to work?
I'm experiencing the same thing, and find the remind me feature less useful as it doesn't move the message to the remind me mailbox (it does copy it there). I'd like to see it move it out of the inbox and move it back at the set remind me date and time. It did function this way in Betas 1 and 2 (albeit with some flakiness) This feature is why I was using Spark as the snooze feature works great, but I was hoping to be able to use the native mail app.

Airdrop
It is still slow. It spends several seconds "waiting" till the process actually starts.

New Game Center "What's New" screen popped up this morning - just once.

Wish they‘d allow us to pick a default notification layout for every Focus mode. I might want the count layout for my do not disturb Focus, the stack one for my personal one and the full / classic list for my Work focus (so I get to glance at every incoming work mail and chat message).

Already posted a feedback suggestion for that.

That’s a great idea, actually.

I like to think of the Focus modes as almost being a completely different phone depending on your particular set up.
