No it is not dumb. Just because you prefer a different way of doing this does not make the other ways “dumb”.

As a matter of principle, I get really annoyed that we don’t get some good features because some people out there abuse them. I get it but that doesn’t make me less annoyed about it.
Yes, it is dumb. How does this enhance anything with messaging? I'm not saying features should never see the light of day (and they can have features and people still think they are dumb), it's not that big of a deal, different strokes for different folks. Relax.

I’m still annoyed that the share sheet isn’t mirroring the current conversations in the Messages app. Hope that gets fixed soon.

I'm 90% sure this is new, and it's extremely minor, but now there's text saying "Unlock to edit" if you try to press and hold on the lockscreen and the device is locked still, before I just remember it vibrating and shaking the lock icon, now it shows text as well.

Gotta say it’s been smooth sailing since installation. Nothing has jumped out and grabbed me as far as changes but as someone else mentioned the keyboard just seems to feel better.

On my IPP I have no option to show or hide Your Photos Only/Yours & Shared in the photos app when in Library/All Photos. Noticed this was the case in the previous beta too. Can anyone else confirm please?

Edit: to add, its showing everything by default.

Edit 2: NVM, found the option under Filter

Under notifications, new setting to display notifications on Lock Screen with subtext of "Pinch the notification list on the Lock Screen to change layouts in context"

Anyone figure out how exactly to do this? I've been pinching and nothing happens.

Anyone having issue with dictation not working?

More details please. What do you mean not working? It doesn’t work at all, it’s inaccurate…?

For the record it does function for me on my IPP M1, but it is the usual inaccurate sack of crap that Apple are seemingly only capable of these days with Siri/Dictation.

Appears to be broken at the moment. It was working in previous betas. Pinching on the Lock Screen just let’s you cycle through the choices on the fly.

EDIT: Working for me now. Not sure why it didn’t register the changes in settings earlier
