Wonder if Siri lets you do the recipient and message all at once again. In 3, if I said "Hey Siri, message <soandso> <message>, she would ask what i wanted to message to <soandso> instead of just sending it. I already told you!
Am getting this error when i ask Siri for something

Ive had to down load Xcode again and dig out a new mobilepkg.dmg as finder aint having it with this IPSW...😳

Actually editing messages *IS* a feature they are bringing to IOS16. You couldn't do it previously (at least not the way they are implementing it in IOS 16). Again, not everyone has to agree with you, it's not that big of a deal, you think it is useful, cool, I don't and you don't have to get up in arms about it. Use it away!
Navigation in CarPlay still starts out with a muffled, lower quality voice like in beta 3 and now, they got rid of the red wallpapers.
Looks like Notifications is still busted.

maybe installing the new Mac OS update 12.5 got rid of the last mobilepkg 🤷🏽♂️
“Editing messages” as you employed the term in your initial post is the act of editing a message and not the feature.
My objection was to your calling my workflow to correct errors and typos in messages dumb because it’s not how you do it. Perhaps try saying “I prefer to do it this way” or “that’s one way to do it. Personally I do it this way”.
Makes the discussion here much more civil if we don’t attack the way other people do things.

We can just agree to disagree on the term "editing messages." My bad for you feeling as I was attacking how you will use this feature (which it is a feature since this wasn't able to be done on IOS prior to IOS 16) that was not my intention.
There’s a huge lag when I open the Messages app, compose a new message, and start typing someone’s name in the “To:” field. It takes a good 3-5 seconds before contact suggestions begin popping up.

Same here, after updating to 12.5 I had to reinstall MobileDevice.pkg to install Beta 4 today.
There is a new “critical alerts” for weather.
