You will appreciate it even more with the iPhone 14 Always on Display. Don't ever have to pull down or tap the screen no longer. The battery percentage will be there forever![]()
I mean I won't have a iphone 14 but I guess others might appreciate it.

you’ll still get the new battery percentage feature on your older iphone if you update to iOS 16. It’s not exclusive to the coming iphones.
No thanks. I’d rather just take a quick glance and not have to swipe. It wasn’t completely removed. You could still check the percentage by swiping down to reveal the control center.
now place auto brightness settings under the "Display & Brightness" settings pane and we can live in peace ... no I mean seriously it makes zero sense to navigate under "Accessibility -> Display & Text size" to turn on/off a damn auto brightness ... a toggle in Control center would also be sufficient ... or just replace the "Dark Mode" toggle after haptic pressing on the display brightness in Control center with auto brightness ... who the hell toggles a dark mode anyway ... it's a one time setting when you initialize the iPhone
I can’t disable it on my 11 Pro. The toggle in settings doesn’t change it. It’s always on for me.Please tell me you can disable it.
this is why I don't beta until late Aug/early Sept.I can’t disable it on my 11 Pro. The toggle in settings doesn’t change it. It’s always on for me.
