External audio interfaces (at least, my iRig Pro) still won’t play audio through the iPad and iPhone internal speakers. They recognize the output audio (in control center) as headphones… meaning that the OS is sending the audio back to the interface’s headphone jack.

Literally the only way for me to play guitar right now is to just plug into my Mac.

I noticed something interesting, at least to me. My iPhone has hovered around 63gb free for a few betas now with a system data of 16-17gb. After updating to beta 5 yesterday and charging overnight, system data has dropped to 9gb and my free space is back up to around 71gb. Appears that iOS did some file management while on the charger overnight.

Is the volume bar in a new position for videos? Can’t recall it being like this before.

im reporting it , not a fan either that can get filled very quickly as I do several screenshots from safari for work

edit: FB11165994
Very interesting this issue with the Safari screenshots. I think it must be a bug, because it only does it in a Safari page and not on the tabs view.

Also, it's saving the screenshots as full page PDF, which in iOS15 would default to saving in Files but with a pop-up promo.

But we always had the option to save either the full Safari page or what is just what is showing on the screen. The full page option had only to save as a PDF on files.

I’ve been getting this a lot since being on the beta train. I mainly charge with MagSafe or in the car when connected to CarPlay (non-wireless).
I just picked up the new ESR HaloLock Wireless Charger with the built in fan. Very nice. No more dimming while charging.

Correct, so I'm guessing since there is not official 'Trash/Recycle Bin" in iOS, and Deleted Photos doesn't support PDF, the system is defaulting to the Downloads folder in Finder. But it's also defaulting to full page screenshots in Safari (when using the copy & delete option), rather than a normal screenshot. It's all a bit confusing.

This bug triggers in the following conditions
1. Receiving calls not registered in contacts when screen locked.
2. Trying to shut down the phone.
You can see that the overlays are mixed up in an unexpected way.
Shut down screen still shows the overlap?! 😖

I reported that a couple times on previous beta

Hoping to see Public Beta 3 soon.

PB 2 is fairly bad on my iPhone 8. A lot buggier than PB 1. I have at least 4-5 app crashes a day vs. the rare one with Beta 1. Seeing a lot more bugs on the Lock Screen as well...music widget is just a translucent box sometimes, expanding the album art makes it way too big, widgets take much longer to update, etc.

The only thing that's improved is battery life, which is admittedly quite an important one. But my phone has become a lot more annoying & unreliable to use on a regular basis.

I reset my iPhone but my iCloud Photos are not showing up. It seems to be stuck at "sync with iCloud". Usually the photos would start appearing after a little bit, now it has been well over an hour

Faced the same problem yesterday. Couldn't find a fix and just had to wait for it to blow over lol.

Plugged in and connected to WiFi?
