Probably my opinion will not be popular, but… I think the % number in the battery icon is… horrible.

I’ve been getting this a lot since being on the beta train. I mainly charge with MagSafe or in the car when connected to CarPlay (non-wireless).

Is anyone having trouble getting voicemail notifications?

I just noticed it as I don’t get many but I get the text of the transcription but nothing in the phone voicemail tab?

I am on T-Mobile.

Any help would be appreciated!

Not new to Beta 5, but new to iOS 16 — at least the notification is, in any case, as this Apple Support article for current releases of iOS notes that charging may slow or stop if the device gets too warm or cold.

I do this all the time.

I’ll take a screen shot that I want to send to someone, but don’t want the screen shot in my photo library. I simply “copy” the image and then trash the screen shot.

Exactly. This will dramatically cut down the number of orphan screenshots in my library. This will have the benefit of keeping these from being auto-uploaded to Google photos and Lightroom. Big help!

Yes.

Take screenshot.
Open share sheet.
Press “Copy”.
Return to screenshot.
Press “Done” in upper left.
Select “Delete Screenshot”.

Not impressed with the battery life so far. Seems to be draining very quickly. Had this issue with the previous beta as well.

The keyboard haptics are fixed now. But I don’t have the option to copy and delete a screen shot.

Oh what the hell…just realized that the new “copy & delete” option when taking screenshots actually dumps the deleted screenshot into the Files app.

I thought it would just delete the screenshot like you would any other way. Lame.

Battery draining unbelievably slow with this update. Hoping it's not going to follow beta 4 where it was fine until it wasn't. But so far the whole shebang is pretty durn sweet.

When charging is on hold at 80% the graph no longer shows the paused symbol. There is just a gap in the charging.
