AFAIK the camera fix from yesterday's 16.0.2 is not in 16.1 B2, at least not in the release notes.

Ah…I think you’re correct. Looks like they got the GPS bug and the “annoying paste” bug.

Hopefully in beta 3, which will probably be the first build compiled after the iPhone 14 was released and the problem was first noted.

I can confirm that the GPS bug is fixed now, BUT I am seeing the Maps app start lagging after a few turns. Hard to reproduce since it's sporadic but you can see the app become jittery. It doesn't resolve itself unless I force close the app.

I think I’ve heard others saying something similar.

Well, it appears its still a work in progress.

There is a camer bug where the stock app is very slow to work. I had it and got a new device. By all accounts 16.0.2 didn’t fix this.

16.1 has been ok for me. But - off topic - the Ventura beta is out of control bad. Lots of freezes, odd Stage Manager behavior, etc…
Same here regarding 16.1, although it seems like battery drain is progressively worsening? I’ve even resorted to switching off unnecessary System Location Services in the meantime trying to hold my battery life together. Weird…

That really is a shame about macOS, though. I don’t have a Mac but from what I’ve seen this development cycle has been rough.

I was thinking that 16.1 had just become a placeholder to shore everything up after 16 working so well on everything but the iPhone 14’s. And considering the quick turnaround & focus on 16.0.1 and then 16.0.2 fixing most issues, I’d expect 16.1b3 to work much better for everyone.
