I am surprised at all the GPS comments on the 14PM. I have been on Beta 1 an hour after pickup and Google Maps has been flawless. I am in sales and use it 2-3 times a day and it seems good. Is everyone’s issue with Apple Maps or Waze?

My experience thusfar has been hilariously, borderline dangerously, bad. I could post screenshots but it’s essentially PII.

The gist is, I hit the button for my girlfriend’s place, and Maps never updated the route (I take one shortcut that Maps doesn’t initially use). It said “Proceed to route” for nearly the entire journey. When Maps actually does update, it does so in hiccups instead of smoothly and constantly knowing where you are.

Because for iPadOS, 16.1 is the initial release of iPadOS 16, so they just kept the existing beta number sequence going.

On my iPhone 14 PM all apps using GPS are wonky. The pointer randomly zooms across the screen. The ETA does appear to be correct tho.
