I agree! I don't understand. Why is it so hard and difficult to change the icons?

It’s more like daddy apple wants you to like what you are given. You must also use the Home Screen and have it look like all the other millions of iPhones lol

1. Allow you to toggle App Library. I like either home screen icons or library. Not both.
2. Redo the settings. You shouldn't have to individually enable/disable so many things. Why can't you do things in groups.
3. Remove the sign on with apple requirement (I miss Pushbullet) and let us keep old non-developed apps if we want (I having to load the Pebble app weekly).

Other than that, I seem to care less and less about iOS. My SE2020 phone works without fuss.

It's 2022 and I still have no idea why we don't have a "Weather" app for iPad.

Apple needs to decouple system updates from app updates:

iMessage could use some help (voice messages dictation, better groups, better replies, etc..),

Photos could use better album management and locked albums,

Files could use better handling of large files,

Find My could use non-precise location sharing.

It’s amazing how Apple decides something and sticks to their guns on it.

I get their reasoning for not having a full screen weather app or calculator on iPad, but I think the world has spoken and said, “I’m sorry, we use the device in a different way, we realize it’s an oversized iPhone…give us the ***** apps!!”

While I do use my iPad as a substitute for my laptop when I travel, most days it sits off to the side of my laptop and is used in place of my phone for browsing, Reddit, watching videos, etc. but it is at my home office desk and I use a calculator a lot. Would prefer the iPad over my phone…and yes, same for the weather.

I agree we should although I might not use them. I remember when iPad came out the explanation was that they plan was just to use the iPhone ones but they looked so bad when enlarged. No real excuse years later

Not sure if posted previously... Archive option for iMessage. Much like FB messenger. Remove the message from the "inbox" and bring it back with a new message to/from that same person.

Apple keeps insisting on that it's difficult to make a weather app on an iPad canvas, but all the concepts in the world shows opposite!!!

-AoD ( Always on Display ) is a must

-Dark theme customization would be fun, allowing at least the app icons to be turned dark or something

-Default app selection. Let me the user decide which apps I want set as default, not Apple.

-Haptic vibration on the stock keyboard

-Notifications need a major revamp

-Swipe from back from the right side of the screen like stock Android would be nice

-T9 dialer already. Meaning when you start typing a number it starts showing you a contact

-Place an app icon anywhere I feel like on the home screen, without needing some silly stupid blank app widget BS. And without that app icon automatically bouncing up top, let me place it towards the bottom and stay there. Come on Apple this should have been allowed ten years ago.

This is a more under-the-hood change:

Let apps be modular or branch upon different hardware/iOS versions;

and enable nearby/under-the-same-LAN devices exchange data without needing to upload/download to the Apple servers (e.g. iPad and iPhone downloading the same app or Photo library syncing).
