So then hopefully an RC soon! Today even! With the current state of macOS, lets all hope it's ... better.
The last 2 betas have been quite good, tbh.
I’m gonna wait to see how the RC runs because B5 is running like a dream for me. Happy to stay put till official Monday.
I've had an opposite experience.
Yep, I think all RC's today or no later than Wednesday if not today.

The dream is to have a iPad Pro and be allowed to install Adobe CC on it, with it running at MBP performances.
The portability and multi use from traveling on a train to a job in iPad mode, then at a location switching to laptop style adding the keyboard... 😍

Unfortunately people have been saying that for several years now and it never seems to happen. I get wanting to have 2 separate “systems”. But why load up the iPad Pro with all that processing power and then hobble the OS so that it really can’t take full advantage of it.
Another head scratcher from this morning’s announcements: why give the new iPad a better keyboard than the Pro model (function keys, etc) ? The only thing I can think of is that there is another Magic Keyboard coming at some point in the not too distant future. But if so, seems to be a missed opportunity to not introduce it today.
Re the RC: remember, there’s a decent chance we’re already running it.
So several still saying RC. Wasn't the announcement from Apple that iPadOS 16.1 would be available today? And other speculation was that iOS and iPadOS would drop at same time? I expect the 16.1 release today not RC based on that.
