Mac got done downloading and wow 25 mins estimated for preparing (M1 Max). iPad and iPhone show a pretty long preparing bar too. Looks like a big update.

AT&T and Verizon. I signed up for a free trial with Verizon and it expires in 5 days. So far I love it. I wish I could just purchase only the data from Verizon while keeping AT&T as main.

Not necessarily. As recent as iOS 16.1, RC and release were different builds.

Yes, I did. On my backup iPhone 14 Pro Max not on my regular daily iPhone. Today both are updated.

I thought iOS 17 is only 6 months away. Apple will be previewing iOS 17 during WWDC in June 2023. I believe public beta release will be out in July.

We still have a long way to go before iOS 17 gets shown at WWDC '23. I Expect 3 more major releases up to iOS 16.5

I agree. iOS 16.4 will be a big update. Should be out in March 2023.
