Surprised everyone as the RC was from 232022z build. Yes a “Z” build 😱

ST 1.1 beta 1 will probably be released later on this week, Sunday. LOLS.

I’m thinking this will be the reason we also get 16.3.1 next week as well. To officially launch this.

Last-minute issues with rolling out Apple Pay Later might very well be the reasons why Apple haven't released the beta yet. I'm sure there are tons of complications behind something like this, with the new subsidiary Apple Financing LLC handling the financial back-end and Apple handling the front-end user experience.

Apple works on a 4/10 schedule. (Monday through Thursday) I don’t think we are getting anything today folks. It has happened before but it’s extremely rare. I think it’s safe to say that we’re going to get it but we are going to get it next week.

🍗🍖 No BBQ party for us this weekend. Come back next week.

So.. there’s a rumor that Jim was holed up somewhere in a cabin in Siberia, determined to get the beta out asap before going into the woodwork. Hopefully he can push that red button before Apple security takes him out, in that case, @russianhack0rz if you’re listening, release the beta!!!

The good news is that the public version of 16.3 is more unstable than your average beta!

No way! We can't be living like this. If it's not released next week. I don't know what I'm going to do. Next week I don't want people to get mad at me or at each other. It almost feels like we're in the 🎅🏻 Christmas holidays. I'm more than ready for iOS 16.4 Beta 1.

It just made me realize that this is the first time in a LONG LONG time I’ve been on a public release for more than a few hours or a day or two. As soon as a new iOS drops at WWDC in June we jump on the beta, and we do the same the second the .1 beta drops in the Fall, and .2, .3, .4, etc.

I guess we’re used to the excitement of being on the never ending beta train and now we’re all having withdrawal symptoms. Would explain why we’re all going crazy!

Actually it’s a long time of no beta, 16.3 was already an RC when apple seeded it. And this silence is strange
