Does your business (assuming you are old enough to be in a business) reveal all of it’s issues to its customers?

“Gosh Mrs Jones: I hope you’re drycleaning doesn’t come back with holes in it since last week I forgot to clean the machine”.

“Boy Mr. smith, you should have seen the coding error John made. If we hadn’t found it using our quality control processes, it might have disclosed all of our customers’ banking info on the internet. Good thing we figured that out!”

No. You keep your mouth shut until something happens. Why should Apple do any differently?

You seem to have a very entitled attitude, as if these betas were for you. They’re not. They’re for Apple to improve its software.

And guess what: I’ve learned to just deal with minor bugs as what they are: minor annoyances. I don’t come in here whining about them.
I didn’t know we were all running trillion $ businesses. I should really update my resume.

IF you find posts to be whining wouldn’t it be best to ignore them, instead of complaining about it?

The problem is they’ve become the dominant theme in here. So no, I won’t ignore them.

Where's the beta or official update? What happened to Apple?
They‘re all lost in AR/VR-gimmicks, hunting for problems they are trying to sell you a solution for, called „RealityPro“ - thus forgetting their customers.

I really hope the whole AR/VR thing is going to be a really bad failure and they start focusing on things customers really want.
And that is not a wearing a ski mask for 3000+$ to watch your coworker „sitting“ in your living room.

More likely another Mac model. The AR has been in software dev side for last two years, not necessary needing AR to be utilized on multi-media glasses. Instead it would be on seeing AR in browsers for additional information like a virtual store front.

Genuine question, please explain why so many of you are so desperate for a new beta? The fact of the matter is going by previous history, it will be riddled with bugs with very few if any issues, long-standing or new, fixed.

I just don't understand this constant need for update, update, update. And then the second an update is released, people are moaning and exclaiming they need another one. I don't get it. Seems like a massive sense of entitlement to me.

Apple would of released a new beta or a official update today

MacRumors tends to overemphasize iOS for whats an important OS as far as news/rumors, but the other OS's should be looked at more intently because how fast AS processors are being updated. March April timeframe would be new hardware possibly iPad or Mac updates or new models.

Btw, there’s still a chance we see iOS 16.3.1 tomorrow. Last year, multiple “double point” updates released on a Thursday.

Need a mod to clean up all the nonsense in here.

I think the issue that most should agree on is that the communication is so poor with Apple’s beta program. For the Microsoft Beta program, they have a weekly update cycle and will post on their blog if there’s a dealbreaker bug preventing them from pushing an update. If Apple clearly laid out their beta schedule, there’d be no reason for speculation. Developers are paying a fee to Apple and have to allocate their own resources to testing new software, so they should absolutely be entitled to some communication at minimum.

I’ll be happy to make an exception to actual developers complaining in this thread. If that reduces the complaints by 1% I’d be shocked.

Most of it is from relative newcomers here who are upset that they don’t have new toys to play with.
