This was definitely a very long month. Last week of March. Expecting TWO big announcements this week.

• iOS 16.4 Official Public Release - Monday or Tuesday around 10:00 AM PST.
• WWDC 2023 Announcement - Wednesday or Thursday around 09:00 AM PST.

I'm not on beta, currently on 16.3.1, so I'm so excited 😄

Hopefully some WWDC sessions identified instead of trying to interpret of the usual AR artwork signifying something that throws us off of what’s going to happen. Oh we just love being puzzled each year.

This years things leading into 16.4 did get derailed a whole month, but now at the end of the tunnel, we took more steps forward in a long time . So I hope also 16.5/13.4 beta cycle is even more optimized as we as adding some things that were put aside.

Yeah I already have 16.4 on my phone, so nothing exciting there, but I’m looking forward to the official releases so I can update my HomePods and then handoff will finally work properly between iPhone & HomePod with both devices running 16.4

We get excited because it's a step closer to the next iOS 16.5. I've always been a fan of official iOS public releases, not beta or the Golden Master.

What. Total nonsense. Maybe on your device, but it’s noticeable on mine in a number of areas.

With 16.4, sometimes I would open an app, it would hang on the splash screen for like 20 seconds, and then completely crash. This happens with lots of apps.

Likewise except that I get more 20 =/- second hangs before the app finally opens. Not very many crashes.

Sometimes it opens, sometimes it crashes. It happened with Twitter and at first I thought it was just because of the chaos going on there, but it happened with other apps after that.

Hopefully we don't have chaos like we did with 16.3.1. Took 40 minutes to show up on my phone and people were saying apple took it down
