It was was crazy Tuesday yesterday as two storm eyes converged over Apple in the South Bay.Let's say a prayer...
High winds whipped across the Bay Area, with the highest recorded wind speeds of 88 mph in Richmond in Contra Costa County, according to the Bay Area National Weather Service. Other strong recorded winds include: 82 mph at Los Gatos, 81 mph at Loma Prieta, 77 mph at Pier 1 in San Francisco and 74 mph at the Oakland Airport.
Sea level air pressure over the San Francisco International Airport was 984.4 millibars Tuesday afternoon, breaking a previous March record, set in 1942, of 990.2 millibars, Bliss said. The all-time record over SFO is 976.6 millibars, set Jan. 27, 1916,
Not missing from the original announcement but the Sound Detection feature for the new HomePods is due to come in the spring so I assume that'll be a 16.5 feature. Is there anything else missing from Apple's original iOS 16 announcement? I guess the savings account stuff.
The way some higher-billing features have been delayed in recent years, I wouldn’t hold my breath….Not missing from the original announcement but the Sound Detection feature for the new HomePods is due to come in the spring so I assume that'll be a 16.5 feature.
When we can expect public release? On 28th? Or sooner?
And a lot of those bugs will carry over into 17, where they’ll be warmly greeted by a whole new family of bugs, some of which will still be around in iOS 18 and beyond.I would love if they actually focus on outstanding bugs with 16.5. Some of these bugs still being here after so long is quite frankly ridiculous. Notification and UI bugs being the most mind-boggling.
Yes some people that wait for final previous OS release before upgrading. The problem is with all that waiting you can't assume 3rd party applications will be fully compatible, it means you still need to update afterwards so that updates recognize your new OS. Then's there's the OS changes you now learn about way after people have discuss issues. So besides making it harder on yourself, you now have to hunt for knowledge after it been discussed long ago. That people still act like there’s some final build nirvana is pretty hilarious.
Why is that, we have all been using it. More expected to use the RC's. You weren't?
Keyword: Beta. Why is that, we have all been using it. You weren't?💃
There are no promises guessing dates you know.Keyword: Beta.
They will not be in the beta stage anymore. You still owe everyone $2.00 tho. 😒💵💲
He lost track, y’all..Bring on 16.6!!!
He lost track, y’all..
Like the betas burn up all known bugs.16.6 beta 6 is smooth as lava.
Like the betas burn up all known bugs.![]()
Just wait until iOS 16.6.2 to fix THOSE bugs. Always bugs.
I await newer versions of MacOS 14 which allow AV1 playback using Netflix and YouTube. Safari 16.4 shows that experimentally incorporated, but not allow this to be used yet. That and push metal 3 to offer some compatibility with Direct X 12 for VM. IPadOS 17 needs to allow better multitasking then side by side, even with stage manger not the best implementation as an alternative. tvOS and its ridiculous AppleTV app issues, and lack of better bitstream capabilities. iOS 17 and the App Store purchase limitations is much wished for improvements. We need more than the WWDC date, give us hope for once to satisfy our appetites. Then there’s the DTK finally for AR testing also might show up, that would be exciting if we can take the next step to show off that new marketplace.WWDC 2023 announcement next week along with iOS 16.4 public release? Let's get it! 🔥🎇

In a separate tweet, Scoble wrote: “Here is my friend Jeff Stevens listening to them. He was a recording engineer and is the hardest audiophile I know. He and I were blown away. The headphones have way better sound than the new AirPod Pros. More accurate and better spatial audio.”
