I made the mistake of switching off the developer betas and that option disappeared, lolYeah mine way saying that too but the download showed up eventually. Glad I didn’t touch anything![]()
Weird, that’s good to know. I jumped on the iOS 16.4 betas without a profile at all. I just had the option available to me in Software Updates. I think it’s safe to assume that when the iOS 17 betas come out in a couple months, you’d need a Dev Account associated with your signed in Apple ID in order to validate, or even be offered, beta updates. I’m curious how the Public Program will work, same way? Associated with the logged in ID?I made the mistake of switching off the developer betas and that option disappeared, lol
I'm downgrading to an earlier 16.4 beta just so I can switch developer updates back on. Go ahead, call me sad, pathetic. I already know thatWeird, that’s good to know. MacBook is now installing and it looks like the iPhone will be last across the finish line. Guess that full 5.33 GB (IIRC) iOS update package takes a while to process.HomePods and Watch are now installing; phone and MacBook are still 'preparing.'
Me too. I think now the only method would be IPSW install, right?I made the mistake of switching off the developer betas and that option disappeared, lol
The dev option disappeared for me as well. I have reinstalled the profile and even though I only have the public beta option, 16.5 showed up and I am installing it right now.Me too. I think now the only method would be IPSW install, right?
But from where can i download it?
As someone who’s used Logic Pro before “without paying” and then later paid for it, it’s ok!I'm downgrading to an earlier 16.4 beta just so I can switch developer updates back on. Go ahead, call me sad, pathetic. I already know that
Edit: Disclaimer to anyone else that wants to do this, there are risks including losing your data and potentially bricking your phone. Make sure you know what you're doing.
It's as simple as that for seeing the dev updates reappear. Not having any issues with off/dev/public choices.i just set the beta updates to OFF and then restarted the phone. The update appeared.
Not for everybody. It's as simple as that for seeing the dev updates reappear. Not having any issues with off/dev/public choices.
When is public out?Wasn't expecting this but Happy iOS 16.5 Beta 1 day! Woo hoo!
It's nice to be o track again. We get to see when notes becomes available what they are directing their efforts against on a new beta cycle. With all the security patching between iOS 16.3 and start of iOS 16.4 that delayed a month. Now you know this beta cycle is trying to continue refining of issues or delayed features on a regular schedule for iOS 16.5.Wasn't expecting this but Happy iOS 16.5 Beta 1 day! Woo hoo!
16.5 tomorrow?
Most likely tomorrow now? I hope we get an announcement date for WWDC as well. When is public out?
You got your wish. So first new betas, then WWDC dates which we kinda knew on a quiet day later. It’s again raining here near campuses. Most likely tomorrow now? I hope we get an announcement date for WWDC as well.
Not yet looking at a ATV4k pointing to PB seed updates.still no public beta?
