I know this is much speculation -although we’re on the iOS 16 Speculation thread anyways-, but when do you calculate iOS 16.5 will be released?

I ask this because, after seeing the worse battery performance of both iOS 16.4 and 16.4.1, I’ve decided to wait on 16.3 until I see if 16.5 improves the efficiency.

Thank you.

First week of May by more then one opinion, doubt it will be towards mid May. They can't really announce any hardware just before WWDC (last 2 weeks of May. So there is this late April thru early May that is great for that.

Great! Thanks for the info. Hopefully it will be here in 3-4 weeks. Can’t wait!

If we see the history of iOS 14 and 15 releases, it is more than likely that we will see iOS 16.5 officially launched in mid-May, I bet on the 15th and thus start the beta of the latest version of iOS 16, 16.6, on the 17th or 18th and extend it until mid-July, at which time they may launch it officially and until September they leave iOS 16 a little parked in favor of iOS 17.

Good morning! Happy Monday.

I expect a new Beta to be released on Tuesday! I just realized we are less than 2 months away will we get a first glimpse of iOS 17. Who's excited???
considering after 16.5 wraps up early May, it looks like we we might have maybe two more clean up beta cycles before 16.7? next late September/October 2023 yields the end of that and definitely deliver of what a lot of us are wondering is the future of iOS/iPadOS given the EU mods pertaining to App Store sales. Yes hearing we will return to making iOS better than simply new features is something we been wanting for some time. Who cant be excited for what WWDC 2023 OS progression brings. At the very least finally updated Apple TV app updated for iOS, iPadOS, tvOS, and MacOS. Yes more excitement this year for sure.

Belongs to you we will have 16.7? I don’t think so

Well considering all the not so kind comments with iOS 16.4.1 update it’s more likely a possible spin then just one more 16.6 then the occasional system update for 2023 year, just look at iOS 14.8.1 and iOS 15.7.4 the last two years. Dare I mention Homekit? :D

Who is hyped up for beta 2 tomorrow???

Well I’m not since I somehow lost access to the dev betas last week unexpectedly, has this unfortunate situation happened to anyone else? Let us know if it has.

Happy beta deux eve to all.🖼️
May all the beta tidbits you hear about be what you like to hear then. Hope you play enough with the situation to get it going again.
