What about a 4th beta? I’m still seeing lots of glitches, and with Tim having spent so much time in India last week I’m not sure he’ll have all the bugs ironed out by Tuesday.

Do you really think Tim being in India or elsewhere has anything to do with this or any software release cycle? Tim runs the whole company and does not sign off every beta release. If anybody, you should channel your concerns to Craig, LOL.

I mean, I get it, it is a very boring period in iOS development cycle, with everyone gearing up to iOS presentation in June. ;)

The only exciting thing I can still expect to be added to iPadOS 16 is a full-sized Apple Music Classical app, instead of the current iPhone clone. All the rest will be just minute tweaks & fixes with not much to be excited about.

Don’t bother. People with juvenile senses of humor think they’re hysterical even when no one else does.

It’s just like all the “is Safari snappier?” or “the battery life is much better!” comments that are posted in the immediate aftermath of a beta release. Once they were amusing. Now they are tired old tropes trotted out by the same people relentlessly in their vain quest for a laugh-track that exists only in their own minds.

This is the way.

We’ll be right back.
Updates are coming to the Apple Store. Check back soon.
Macworld says it has seen this message twice today, for both US and UK online Apple Stores.

We’ve seen the U.K. and U.S. Apple store go offline twice today: April 24, 2023, so we are curious to know what is going on? Apple is expected to launch a new 15-inch MacBook Air in the next few weeks, could the company be gearing up to launch it today?

I think we will have beta 3 on Tuesday or Wednesday, one more the following week, and then the RC, with a final release on May 15. and to wait for ios 17, because the beta of 16.6 I don't think almost anyone is interested haha

Magic Keyboards have been on sale on Amazon lately. That frequently means the product is being discontinued or replaced. Hope this means a new one for the iPad Pro’s with a row of function keys.

Depends on whether SDK notes show anything else otherwise can‘t make HomeKit/matter fixes go on forever with 4th beta. On to 16.6, because PB iOS 17 won’t be to start of July.

Absolutely!!

And Craig? Oh yea, we should bring Craig into the discussion more, will have to email him/hair and see what he has been up to. I’m sure iOS 17 has him a busy bee these days!

Yes my brother, vanilla spring is a thing, we can barely contain our excitement knowing that iOS 17 is coming soon. We look forward to new features and bug fixes so it isn’t just another cruel summer.

We don’t listen to much classical music, the neighbors are already telling the kids to get off their lawn day and night. And everytime we sing, dance, and chant they call the cops to complain about the noise. We’ve invited them over to join us but we never get a response.

But just for you friend we will pray for Apple to make a iPad classical music app, may Tim hear our prayers and gift you this. 💠

Do you live in Switzerland by any chance? Your neighbour description fits a 100%! 😉

I have to say I second this. The thread seems like it is becoming Tim type pictures and other go team posts that have zero impact or benefit on upcoming releases.
Yeah, the “cute in-joke” thing is done and pretty cringe now. Apple execs don’t care about you and they certainly aren’t your friends. :) Have a nice day!

Getting bored with meaningless guesses about betas and RC releases anyone can pick any date. Wish there was more speculation about features.

There aren't any more new or groundbreaking features left that Apple will be introducing with iOS 16 now. I think the majority of the focus is on the upcoming iOS 17 and we are roughly 6 weeks away.
