My 13P runs on 16.5 and today I was hoping for 16.5.1. But it didn't lunch as I can see. I want to get rid of 16.5 somehow. My question is: if I update to 16.6 B2 will I still be able to update my iphone to 16.5.1 when it comes out without using a PC? Or i will have to wait for official 16.6 to come out as officiall? I tried to google this but I haven't got a clear answer.
Thank you

Pretty sure you can only downgrade from the betas to the current release by going in to DFU and restoring it

Ok. This needs a PC. So without a PC, when will I be able to go back to official release? When 16.5.1 comes out? Or when 16.6 comes out? Or 16.6.1 🤔

Assuming you will be on a 16.6 beta, without a PC or Mac, you are limited to upgrading over the air. So you will not be able to go back to the official release until 16.6 is released.

WWDC this year is being called "the best of all time"
It might be. Monday is going to be a very busy day for all of us. Apple Park will be packed🥺

Although I’ll be excited, regardless of what’s announced. I have a feeling we’ll all be let down by what’s NOT announced. Too many people putting Monday’s keynote on a pedestal already.

Agreed, the WWDC focus is about what matters to developers, not the self serving rumor spouting types. It is usually focused on mostly software with occasionally hardware added. This time hardware seems to be what is driving interest in watching setting up one’s expectations too high.

But the headset for the VR Mask Singer and its accompanying software will pick our curiosity for sure 😅
