Yep but mostly because of iOS 17 not because only been a week for beta 2. Also 16.6 should be on a weekly schedule at this point.

The current software releases always get the shaft during WWDC. It’s always about the new shiny. What’s great is looking forward to some apps running better soon after folks have had a chance to see some of the labs this week. Things to get ready for coming up along with learning a few tricks for things in their current state.
everyones still talking 16.5.1 if we get beta 3 this week there is just no need for it as the 16.6 will be out very soon
really? I think we'll get beta 3 this week but that will be the last beta
NVM just saw the 16.5.1 post on MacRumors. If we are getting that then 16.6 must be 3-4 weeks away
Will most likely see Beta 3 this week, maybe tomorrow, and then an RC next week. or the following.

Just saw a post on twitter saying these new Driver license things require 16.6 and that should be available on 6/20. Are we about to see back to back updates with the RC this week and 16.5.1?
some dude posting about App Store receipts saying on June 20th you should be running 16.6 or better.
This beta cycle seems to be mostly 2 week intervals for beta seeds, guess it fits as there is nothing to hurry about it being rushed out. It like the house is vacant and just trying to keep the amount of dust from settling. So likely a beta 3 tomorrow.
Ahhh... This has happened before I believe. Was some years ago and has some "Gate" name like AppStoreGate or something.

I don't know I misread it and thought he was talking about the new drivers license thing but he was just talking receipts. Either way it's claiming that on June 20th you should be running 16.6 or better which makes me think it will be out next tuesday
Yep I agree. If there is in fact a 16.5.1 coming then it may be a few more weeks before 16.6 is released and few more betas. So beta 3 this week.
