Last big iOS update for iPhone 8, 8 Plus and X. I think they want the people to have a flawless iOS version
These new rapid response security updates cause me extreme anxiety. I have no clue what it's going to do to my phone
Apparently its causing some issues with websites for people.
Unless you are a software engineer with some pretty good diagnostic tools, you don’t know what any of these updates are going to do to your phone.
I don't have facebook and Instagram anymore and so far I haven't seen anything wrong. But I have my eyes peeled
just curious is your app store working fine? there was a new report someones app store wasn't working
I went ahead and rolled back to 16.5.1 hope that was the right move
I'm not sure if I read it right but it says security response B is coming very soon
Think I'm getting ready to leave the iphone family and go to the phone with minimal updates. Too many times has my phone been screwed up and overall just not happy with Apple in general
You know you might have fewer issues if you stuck to non-beta releases. Seems a bit unfair to blame Apple for your issues when you know that running beta software can lead to instability with your phone.

Did Apple rolled that messed RSR back? I had it downloaded (not installed, though) and now it has disappeared and no longer available to download
yep it's gone and according to some users affected way more than just the facebook and instagram browser. I rolled back after I learned that and now hoping they straighten it out with RSR (b) release
I know they will release it but it's getting to the point we could just wait for 16.6 instead of the RSR (b)
Agreed. I suspect beta 5 would have been the RC if it hadn’t been for the need to roll in last week’s rapid security response.
Do you expect an RC of 16.6 for tomorrow?
Okay, forgive me for posting without reading the previous comments 😅
Hopefully we’ll have all this week to fully test this new version and see if it’s as promising as it seems in terms of performance and battery life. I have several devices waiting to update from iOS 15
