iOS 16 Speculation Thread

Beta 4 next week, because of implementing security changes that 16.5.1 patch provided. The following week after July 4th, anticipate RC of 16.6 end of the week.
Highly doubtful. I wouldn't expect iOS 16.6 until at least July 10.
we still have to get the RC but I'm expecting a Beta 4
You may be on to something here. 16.6 might just skip the RC and go to general release.

I don’t think we’re getting anything today. I think tomorrow is the day.
I am thinking 16.6 will be released sometime in mid-July, if past release history is any indication.
Since there isn't any products that require it, there is no rush. The more time you have with this beta cycle the better it will be in case of something overlooked that needs attention. After all iOS 17 has months to go. Doubtful we see anything today.

Have a feeling we aren't going to get RC next week on 4th of July week. but that the RC will come the following week and we will land 16.6 on July 18th
Just thought I'd share but Elon Musk has basically destroyed twitter. Not sure how we are going to know now when an update comes out

End of this week on the 7th still likely. RC to dev/testers same day. Otherwise early next week.
your right I think if we don't see the RC today it will be the 7th or next week. Have a feeling Ios 17 beta 3 is tomorrow potentially leaving friday as the only day
I hate not risking issues on my phone by not joining the betas because I feel like I miss a lot of cool new things. Everyone is excited for IOS 17 and here I am waiting for IOS 16.6. Hopefully with the IOS 17 seeds going out today, IOS 16.6 will be ready to go by next week or something. I haven't liked IOS 16 that much and actually miss the stability of IOS 15. Hopefully 17 is an exciting release in September.
