I hope this new beta addresses battery. My 13 mini’s battery is worse on this last beta than all other betas.

You mean RC and that will be after the event on the 7th, which 2 weeks on Wednesday.
In 2 hours time we should have what is likely the last beta, which will be the build used for the RC in 2 weeks! (it’s rarely 18:00 GMT on the dot, so allowing for at least 30 minutes for them to populate it).

GM and RC… not the same? Or? I know that GM is the version that is shipped to manufacturers to install on new devices. RC is just a potential version to be released as a ”non beta”

Maybe last year was an anomaly, but we got a beta on August 21 and another one on September 7.
But the iPhone event is rumored to be a week earlier than last year so there's that.

Totally agree. There's some other software/hardware terms that also changed for the worse due to "political correctness" in today's age 🤦♂️

Apple could have just used "Golden Master Candidate". Who knows why Apple decided to change it? Sometimes it's best to leave things alone as is.
Right? “Release Candidate” makes it sound like we get a vote on if it’s good enough or not.
