I’m going with the last beta will be the same build as the RC. And a two week gap, just to pi$$ us off like last time I think 😆
IMO the latest beta is largely fine, the only possible hiccups might occur with your 3rd party apps.
Possible, but we could still fit at least one beta in between.
Oh yeah. Sorry, just meant for around the RC behaviour in the run up to the final release.

Of course it does! Always installing a new beta in the first minute it's available even in the middle of a dinner in a restaurant 👌
Just came to say that last night I had a dream that Apple releases iOS 16 RC (without new iPadOS or macOS builds), just opened the home page and saw that. 😂
I was thinking this same thing last week. The last 3-4 years have been roughly the same. Basically what we’re all using now, minus all the logging and stuff, is what’ll be on the new phones.
And I’m sure we went thru this last year and the year before, but doesn’t, or hasn’t Apple before pushed out an update and mixed it in with the initial setup process? Like, open a new phone out of the box, and then during setup it tells you an update is available? The rest of us hope they release a beta profile for the iPhone 14 Pro 😆

What are the chances Apple may release a Release Candidate this week?
I would assume we might get one more beta, but no RC until day of event.
Closing in on zero percent. What‘s very likely is that the last beta we get is identical to the RC / public release.

They do that, it‘s usually the last beta they seed that ends up as the RC.
