2. after Face-ID recognizes you, go directly into the phone home screen. You shouldn't have to swipe up after the phone recognizes you. Or at least make it possible to turn this off and on.
You know there is a reason for this right ? It is so you can see notification contents without going to the Home Screen.

I would like to see an Equalizer for the music that we can customize sound fidelity instead of the presets. thanks
More robust features for Apple Music in general would be welcome and is probably my most rational “want” for iOS 16; in particular, as users such as @nortonandreev have suggested/requested, a full-fledged artist-following system with release notifications would be very welcome.

iOS 16 better be the most metal version ever, because it’s getting announced on International Day of SLAYER.

Amazing—but nothing will top dark mode making its WWDC debut to the tune of Depeche Mode’s “Black Celebration” (or A. G. Cook’s opening of the ‘Peek Performance’ event :))

I just thought of something. You know what we need in iOS 16 under the Messages app.

A spotlight search is built-in within the messages app under the phone number.

For example: Searching for text messages within the phone number or inside the inbox. This bar is under the phone number so it will be easier to look for information or specific text.

What do you guys think?

I honestly don’t like it at all. The colors and icons are wildly inconsistent. Some (iTunes Store, Fitness, Watch) haven’t been changed at all, some (Calculator, Mail) were taken from macOS, and some look like they were awkwardly composited in Photoshop (looking at you, Home)
other than the play doh icons I don’t see any difference between this “concept“ and iOS 15.
Have to agree with you two. It does look like play-doh icons. No idea what happened to Apple TV and the health app icon. They look busted 😂. Thankful it's just a concept.

I do believe IOS 16 will look much more like the current Mac OS Monterey. It'll resemble a lot.

honestly, this is their last chance to do something great.
the last 2-3 years it’s felt like we’re on iOS 13.999 or something.
This is the features I want and don’t think should be unrealistic!

A simple ‘customization’ sections in setting.
- Move light/dark mode in here
- Move wallpaper in here
- Clock Lock Screen; move to left, right or center. Bold, italic…. and new animation for it, so its all centered like Pixel, but when you scroll through notifications the clock moves up and gets small, like in Stock apps
- App grid; 5x6….also add a fifth app in the dock

iCloud email
- add up to 5 alias.

split screen
- maybe for Max devices.

Calendar
- Week view, ffs!! It’s killing me that I can’t see it unless I hold it in landscape
- MONTH view but with either colored dots or show us some of the events. This is what I envy about google calendar.

Widgets
- no comments. Just…fix it! Make them work, right now they’re just stickers not actual widgets.

lastly, can Apple please stop with those huge headings taking up half the app. Can we go back to something a bit smaller and sleek again?

Thanks for listening to my 2 cents.I can’t repay you if this didn’t speak to you.
