Do you use iCloud to back up your iMessages? I haven’t downloaded the new update yet since I’m away, but I’m wondering if I should turn mine off before downloading.

I do use iCloud to back up my messages, but it doesn’t sound like that’s the issue. It sounds like plainly a software issue, so I wouldn’t bother disabling the iCloud back up for Messages.

I left it on and everything eventually indexed, including the photos.
