In what version is Apple going to let us turn off Magsafe Wallet notifications when the wallet is detached at certain locations…like my own home…?

I guess it depends on the keyboard you use. As I mentioned, I'm using the third-party SwiftKey keyboard which hasn't been updated yet after the release of iOS 17.4.
Gotcha. I’m just using the built in keyboard.

Hi, guys. 👋 My iPhone 14 Pro is losing 1% of battery every couple of minutes or so after the latest iOS 14. Before the update about 40% of battery would get me through the whole day of light use but now it’s like I’m losing the same 40% in an hour or so. I tried the hard reset and restored everything from iCloud update but no change, the issue is still there.
Also, the phone is getting hot (this never happened before) as if there’s a process running which the OS can’t kill or something.

I’ve read online a lot of people reporting battery drain problems after the latest iOS 17.4 update but couldn’t find any information about how to solve this.

🔋 Battery health is at 97%.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

It can be tricky to identify the cause of battery drain. What do your Battery Settings show?
I’ve spoken to Apple Support about this in the past. Here’s what they advised.
Anything using up a lot of background power? Have you updated all apps?
One thing to consider is restoring using a computer (Mac or PC will both do this). This is not the same as erasing from Settings as it downloads a new copy of iOS 17.4 (as well as removing your personal stuff). If iOS is what’s causing the problem then this might fix it.
And then set it up without restoring your iCloud backup. If it’s still draining quickly at that point then there could be an underlying hardware issue. If it starts behaving itself again, then you can manually reinstall your apps from the Purchased section of the App Store. By signing into iCloud all your synced stuff will reappear — photos, messages, contacts, etc.
I hope this helps.

Thanks for your recommendation. Last night I did a fresh install of iOS 17.4 (used my Mac to restore). I didn’t use my iCloud backup but instead manually installed everything (as suggested). Seems much better now. But I will report back in a couple of days.

Is there a list of vehicles that support dual screen carplay?

Bit late to this one, but I’m interested in this too. Did you find anything? If not, we should start a list!

I can confirm that the Jaguar I-PACE supports dual screen CarPlay (after Pivi Pro OS 4.0.0)

Ever since updating to 17.4 I can watch the battery drain like seconds tick on a clock. This update doesn’t feel right.

Nope, I didn't, although I have to admit I only did a cursory search so all I can say is that Apple doesn't specify in their list of carplay-enabled vehicles.
