Some very useful features. Multiple timers is one among them.
My Fav! I use multiple timers at the same time throughout the day and this is going to be so helpful to me. I am using Alexa now because of the ability to set multiple timers and be able to name them. I hope the also sync with the Watch.

I'd love to see Apple create a food/nutrition/calorie tracker app, perhaps within Health. The popular ones all suck, and Apple could do a much better one, if they become so inclined.

Same! The information can be stored in the Health app so the basics are already there - we just need a way to input that data into the Health app directly instead of via a third party. I’m not a fan of any of those apps either, and would rather Apple store that data than a random third party app, personally. Plus I’m sure whatever Apple comes up with in this area would be a lot smoother.

What happened to the new CarPlay that they announced last year, and this year they didn’t even mention it, also apple let us remove the home bar thanks

I lose mine all the time lol when I get home from work I take it off and chuck it a different place each time and then have joy of hunting for it lol
Although having a button in control center would be handy, you can already search for and ping your watch in the Find My app on the iPhone...

Developers aren’t in this business for free. They have to pay $99/year remember. Now that I think of it though, Apple gets a 30% cut, so maybe they view those calculator apps as a revenue stream.
Which is why the person asked for a first party app. This response/explanation is unnecessary. They weren’t complaining; they were responding.

I don’t know why apple thinks moving messages apps to the side is better. I already have quick access to them now.
I completely agree, and using the beta it’s really my only big complaint with the update. I really hope they give the option in later betas to change it back. Not a fan of the Voice message UX now either.

Has anyone had a problem with their Face ID not working after trying out the iOS 16.5/16.6 betas. It was working fine before and now after trying the beta it is inconsistent and asking to retype the passcode in multiple times or not working in general majority of the time. I thought it may have been fixed with iOS 17 beta but it still remains.

Please post new tidbits when they are found - this is always my favourite thread of the year. Thank you

Please elaborate.
stuff that’s been long overdue. PDF autofill and improvements to Freeform/Stage Manager come to mind first. a lot of the other features are simply ports from iOS 17, but again, I think that’s a release that’s nailed some small details that are (again) long overdue.

Finally! Multiple timers. I find it funny that Apple Watch can do it but iPhone cannot until iOS 17. I use multiple timers lot for cooking so helpful.
