My Fav! I use multiple timers at the same time throughout the day and this is going to be so helpful to me. I am using Alexa now because of the ability to set multiple timers and be able to name them. I hope the also sync with the Watch.

Same! The information can be stored in the Health app so the basics are already there - we just need a way to input that data into the Health app directly instead of via a third party. I’m not a fan of any of those apps either, and would rather Apple store that data than a random third party app, personally. Plus I’m sure whatever Apple comes up with in this area would be a lot smoother.
What happened to the new CarPlay that they announced last year, and this year they didn’t even mention it, also apple let us remove the home bar thanks
What does “Enhanced spam call filtering” mean? Since when iOS has a spam call filtering?
Although having a button in control center would be handy, you can already search for and ping your watch in the Find My app on the iPhone...
That’s what I was thinking. I frequently ping my phone, but never have misplaced my watch. It’s either on me or on the charger.
PCalc is the king, and if you only need basic features PCalc Lite is free without ads.

Are you kidding? This is one of my favorite changes; it declutters the messages screen from stuff I don't use often.
Which is why the person asked for a first party app. This response/explanation is unnecessary. They weren’t complaining; they were responding.
Multiple timers will be great for cooking. It's so nice to be able to say "Hey siri, set a 20 minute timer" when your hands are busy in the kitchen. Looking forward to finally being able to have several going at once.
I completely agree, and using the beta it’s really my only big complaint with the update. I really hope they give the option in later betas to change it back. Not a fan of the Voice message UX now either.
Well alarms do — it will vibrate on your watch even with ios16 and probably 15. But timers not syncing across devices has been super annoying.

Has anyone had a problem with their Face ID not working after trying out the iOS 16.5/16.6 betas. It was working fine before and now after trying the beta it is inconsistent and asking to retype the passcode in multiple times or not working in general majority of the time. I thought it may have been fixed with iOS 17 beta but it still remains.

stuff that’s been long overdue. PDF autofill and improvements to Freeform/Stage Manager come to mind first. a lot of the other features are simply ports from iOS 17, but again, I think that’s a release that’s nailed some small details that are (again) long overdue.
