Battery better than 18.5?

I can’t comment on that as I’ve not experienced 18.5 on my 16 Pro. It’s definitely proving better than the previous 18.6 betas.

What iPhone are you using?
My 16 Plus was constantly laggy with slowdowns on 18.5 especially when typing. Those seem to be gone on 18.6. Very dramatic difference. At least for me.

I don’t even think I’m going to jump on the iOS 26 beta train when the public beta drops. Anyone else?

This RC seems pretty solid to me and I’m very happy so far with overall performance and battery life.

I like the look of the new ‘liquid glass’ and the new lock screen font size lol but nothing really exciting I very rarely use Apple intelligence on my 16 Pro.

At the moment I’m glad to be out of the beta chaos for a while….

Because iOS 18 is dead in the water, now that 26 is on the brink.
Same as last year with iOS 17, which I'm still using at 17.7.2.

People are excited about the iOS 26 betas but I am excited about this. Stable, rock solid software is underrated. I am thrilled iOS 18 can now be considered stable.
