The beta came out. There is no point in saying anything about it.Any news regarding 18.7 - especially regarding older devices, in my case a 12 Pro?
It didn't come because people on old phones didn't risk updating to 18.6.2 like me. Someone here on the forum complained about fast discharge and heating because of this update. Also on YouTube on the Applebits channel in battery tests this version of iOS gives a worse result than 18.6.1. Moreover, on more modern iPhones, on the contrary, the battery has higher scores.Focus is prob on security and bugfixes on 18.7. That can of course affect how it work in both positive and negative ways. Haven't had much report from users regarding 18.6.2 regarding battery or any other issues.
I don't use the 13 mini, but a number of other devices.Recently bought a refurbished iPhone 13 mini with new battery and everything was great until I stupidly update to iOS 18.6.2 thinking I needed to get in quickly before iOS 26 comes out (no intention of installing). Battery % now visibly drops even when hardly using the phone and also gets hot.
Hope that 18.7 improves things. Keen to hear people’s experience especially with 13 mini. Also when is Apple likely to stop signing 18.7 for devices that can update to 26?

Not exactly sure, but it was on 18.5 when I purchased the phone and it auto updated once at some stage before I turned auto updates off. It wasn’t until I updated to 18.6.2 that the battery drops fast and phone gets hot.Which version had your 13 mini prior updating it to 18.6.2?

How is going with 18.7, Populus?Yeah, according to iAppleBytes Geekbench 4 Battery test, iOS 18.7 on iPhone 13 (A15) is only slightly worse than iOS 18.6.1, and much better than 18.6.2, so I think it is worth updating my A15/M2 devices to iOS/iPadOS 18.7
I think it is, that’s why I did it, but I installed it yesterday, so there’s no really a way to tell in so little time…How is going with 18.7, Populus?
I just replaced the battery of my 13 Mini and I'm getting a really good battery life with 18.6.2. Is it safe to update to 18.7? What do you thing?
