I don’t understand the change for the sake of change, just to not be “boring”. I mean, I don’t get an iPhone for it to entertain me with a completely new UI every 2-4 years. I get it to use it, and I want it to work fast, snappy and efficiently.

Something that changed a lot throughout iOS 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11 was the Control Center, and I’m glad they didn’t change it again after iOS 11, because I find it useful as it is, and I’m used to it.
I myself, several years ago, advocated for a completely new interface, because I was bored. But it didn't really happen beyond incremental changes, and I now think that's the best way to go about it--smooth out the rough edges with each iteration, bring the new when you actually have something new.

Didn’t they just revamp macOS to look more like iOS?
"Just" is already four years ago.

If they re-design iOS this year and if they will bring this design to macOS next year, macOS will have looked like that five years, which is pretty much the same period the previous look lasted.

Can we have a “Classic design” option please? I want it to look like it did in 2009 but work as it does now. We could even call it an optional “skin”. Happy to pay for it too. Thank you 😀

Just fix the bugs please. It’s fine. Just the bugs. Focus on the bugs.
I feel like people are just saying that for the sake of saying that. iOS 17 and 18 go through multiple months of testing even before it reaches beta testing. Then it is in beta for a couple of months. Unless you are an enterprise user straining the OS there shouldn't be any bugs. If you are concerned about the bugs you can file an Apple bug report. I am sure there are people who notice the bugs more than I do however and I do understand that.

Can we have some of these Apple engineers working on solving the problem of how to fit 16GB of base memory in a Mac please.
I will second that. Having 8 gigabytes of memory is abysmal and the reasoning of having 8 GB memory is your OS is "efficient" Sometimes 8 GB just isn't enough and no amount of efficiency will solve that.

Compare the Camera app icon pre and post iOS 7. One is meticulously crafted by a designer. The other is pasted together by a toddler.
The design "pasted together by a toddler" was part of the update for a reason and looks more modern.

If so, I want iOS to wait for macOS getting ready. It's strange and weird that the designs are very different between iOS and macOS
