Apple is just like Hollywood. Completely out of new ideas. iOS 19 looks like it’s shaping up to be a total joke.
Don’t you mean iOS 18.5?And by iOS 19 we mean iOS 19.5.
So get an iPadAnother year without split-screen multitasking! I’m sticking with my 15 Pro until Apple gives me a reason to want anything slightly bigger.
Annual iOS updates provide two things:There is no need to update unless there is a need to update.
That is an odd exclusion. Being able to change the music default doesn’t make it easier for people to switch to other music platforms honestly. Even I had to look up how to change the defaults. I know plenty of non-tech people on iPhones but that use Spotify exclusively.I would like to see more default options, such as a default music app selection.
Wouldn’t it be great if it could support the Apple Pencil?
*start to be releasedthe updates are likely to be released
They’d have to rehire someone like Scott Forstall.Just give us a damn redesign instead of staggered release. Come on, richtest tech company in the world.. you can do it!
“I found this on the web, check it out:” https://medium.com/@ow/apple-has-no...ust-banging-on-the-same-old-drum-dcfd0179cf80At what point does Apple’s software team just outright admit it doesn’t have a clue what it is doing now?
It would be really funny for the 16e to get stuck on iOS 18 though. “Yeah, you’ll have to buy the 17e for iOS 19.”Don’t forget the iPhone 16e. Or have you forgotten about it already? 😜
Which rounds up to 20.And by iOS 19 we mean iOS 19.5.
Staggered releases would be fine in general if they separated the feature track from the bugfix track. Then both “I want any new feature ASAP” and “please don’t change the UI every month” users would be happy. In addition, decouple first-party app updates from OS updates. Of course, that’s too much work for such a small company.A staggered release again, so basically with software they have somehow got themselves a year behind what they feel they need to market.
I think he meant “as early as iOS 19”.So chat GPT-like Siri available ALREADY in iOS 19? Ain’t that too early? They should take some time to polish it, do not rush it!
