Yes please. It has been requested a lot that we be given the option to at least show the app library as an alphabetical list only which for me at least would be some solace.

This would be better than the gimpy, often irrational “category” buckets that we currently suffer with.

The new interfaces will adopt the design principles introduced in visionOS..

IOS uses a single interface not "interfaceS" which is plural. Doesn't matter the app used ALL use the single UI layer for an interface! It's singular not multiple and if it ever could be multiple you'd be more annoyed eoth the variances and inconsistencies of both!

Apple still cannot fix pop up alerts eoth correct wording left from over a decade ago, not even get ai right nor siri changing really since 2019!

But you truly believe this will happen on interfaceS which iPhone only has one!

If you can’t get Siri any smarter than Clippy, just dazzle your customers with some new emoticons and design changes…

And that's exactly what the software team at Apple for ios has mostly concentrated on for 10yrs!

Every damn ios keynote there is more emoji or version of.emoji named something else. So many minutes focusing on it for absolutely silly ridiculous reasons.


And while everybody is entertained by dumb emoji or versions of it or updates to existing emoji selections - ahem being programmed by watching - you've shown your acceptance to lazy software development.

I guess that's what happens when a for.phone for me (the 'i') simply continues to be satisfied in being just a "phone" for everyone!

Sounds like they will mainly give you reasons to need the camera and microphone on at all times. Like the glass of the windows will have reflections or move depending on how you are looking at the device. Nice looking but again, just more reasons to have your device look and listen to you at all times.

That feature, even if it would exist, which I doubt, wouldn’t use the camera and microphones, it would use the accelerometer and gyroscope.
They also already did that back in iOS 7, and it was called “parallax”, and it certainly wasn’t using the camera and microphone.

This is only useful news when the mess that is IOS 18 is resolved. Since release after release gets worse the current only destination for IOS 19 is 'go buy any other vendor's phone and give it a try instead'
