That’s hopefully the next exciting thing. For this moment I’m happy to get a good working, stable and flawlessly looking iOS 26(.1).It's all fluff. I'll be stoked when old Siri is gone. As long as it's truly contextually aware and can do what the commercials promised. Fingers crossed for 26.4.
Likewise. I cant answer a phone call in the car.. and the feature that alows you to reply to a text message does not work.Still having wireless CarPlay issues on 17 pro with this beta
I don't think that would be exclusive to this model phone. Have observed this behavior on 11 Pro Max as well as my. friend’s 17 Pro MaxAnyone else still have these two bugs on iPhone 15 pro
1. Random screen dimming. Only solution is to turn lock screen on and then back off and then screen returns to normal brightness but the random bug happens multiple times a day
I had a few conversations that didn't have the "photos" tab, but now they all have it. Not sure if it was beta 2 that fixed it or if it actually needed to index.Anyone else still have these two bugs on iPhone 15 pro
1. Random screen dimming. Only solution is to turn lock screen on and then back off and then screen returns to normal brightness but the random bug happens multiple times a day
2. iMessage is still not showing all photos in the photos tab. Have tried all the things. Reported and sent logs and screenshots etc to Apple who said it’s an indexing issue. Anyone else?
Are all the photos from the text threads now in the correct photo tab? I have the photo tab but a lot of photos from text threads are missing and show as blank white squares. There is a work around for this. Go to the search bar and type in the person’s name and then photos and it will show all the photos eg: “Max Smith Photos”.I had a few conversations that didn't have the "photos" tab, but now they all have it. Not sure if it was beta 2 that fixed it or if it actually needed to index.
I use text replacement for a lot of special characters:Also if you use it constantly use the text replace feature, I have it linked to “applelogo”
Not having that issue here, iPhone 17 Pro on iOS 26.1 b2Can someone test invoking the search function in App Library? On iPhone 15 when you lift the finger after swiping down it freezes for a second.
Needs an outline on those widgets or something. Be neat to customize the colour of it and turn it off/on.
We are using an iPhone 14 on iOS 26.0.1 and it’s super laggy compared to the last version of iOS 18. It’s a work phone and had to update, so there’s work telemetry apps running and likely slowing it down.My iPhone 13 is running great very smooth. My only complaint is battery Life took a pretty good hit starting with beta 1 and still the same with beta 2. Barely lasts a day now, whereas before I had power to spare at bedtime. Oh well, not complaining really, just commenting my observations. C’est la vie
You mean like this, hiding keyboard? Can someone test invoking the search function in App Library? On iPhone 15 when you lift the finger after swiping down it freezes for a second.
Interested im this one tooAny idea if the bug with the 3rd party keyboard’s overlapping the text boxes in msging apps is still present?
I have installed and can confirm it’s fixed.Interested im this one too

- Select which beta you’d like to receive (public/developer beta)
- Hit "Back" and pull down to refresh
- Back up to a computer or to iCloud
- Install the beta
Troubleshooting: If the beta doesn’t show up on your phone, try turning on airplane mode, then turning it back off, or restart your device.
- Turn off the Beta Updates (you can also sign out of your Apple Account to reset this setting)
- Wait for the next public release or follow the guide below to go back to a release build
How to install using a Mac?
Notes/Tips:
- You’ll need the Xcode beta itself or a MobileDevice.pkg somebody extracted from the beta (click with two fingers or control-click), then choose Show Package Contents. Go to Contents/Resources/Packages. - this will work on older Macs that do not support the latest macOS or Xcode betas)
- Back up to your Mac or to iCloud in case you need to go back to another version
- Hold down Option, then click on ‘Check for Update’/‘Restore iPhone...’ and select the IPSW file you downloaded from the Apple Developer site. Note: You must be connected to the internet to complete the restore.
- Enter your iPhone passcode if you’re prompted to do so.
- Always keep a backup in case you need to restore your phone
- Restoring wipes your settings and all data on your iPhone
- You only need to reinstall MobileDevice.pkg if your Mac stops recognizing your iPhone
- There is no MobileDevice.pkg equivalent to iTunes for PC which would require a new iTunes to support new/beta iOS
- Upgrading to a newer iPhone? You can update using your Mac before setting up the phone
