I have reviewed this thread and cannot determine if the following bug has been removed in any of the betas:
Settings> Privacy & Security > Wired Accessories. You cannot change the setting from "Always Allow".
A message says the following: "This setting is managed by your organization and cannot be changed"
This is a significant security issue and will allow 3rd party chargers that are hacked to get access to your phone's content.
I am on 26.0.1 and it is a private phone that is not managed by any MDM software.
Also a quick survey with friends indicates that the 3 that have the problem have 17 Pro Max and 2 that do not have the issue have Airs. This excludes friends with 16 Pro Max'.

This what I have also been told. It is a serious security bug and needs to be fixed now......
There is no general information available on this bug as yet, but I’m told Apple is advising some affected users this will be addressed in the next iOS update. Whether this is the imminent iOS 26.0.2 or the more material iOS 26.1 remains to be seen."

Have'nt noticed it but perhaps your res changed to 48 vs 24? Or live photos came back on (if you had it off)? Or if you had optimized storage on and somehow it got turned off so now full res photos now being stored locally?I’m noticing that my Photos spp storage on my phone has been increasing a lot over the last few days with beta 4. It’s now bigger than the Photos storage taken up on iCloud, and continuing to grow. Haven’t seen this before. Anyone else see this with beta 4, or prior?
Um, just don't stick it in every hole and only in ones you know. This what I have also been told. It is a serious security bug and needs to be fixed now.
Nope, none of that. I'd everything fully downloaded already...I have a 2TB iPhone. It's jumped by about 45GB...above what I have even stored in iCloud. Definitely a bug.Have'nt noticed it but perhaps your res changed to 48 vs 24? Or live photos came back on (if you had it off)? I have feedbacks listed from iOS 17 with “More than 10 reports”My feedback reports for stuttering on beta 4 got an update stating that More than 10 reports have been submitted.
Hopefully the next beta will address it.
Me too; I posted that above with some of mine going back multiple iOS generations that still haven’t been fixed where they had more than 10 reports.I have feedbacks listed from iOS 17 with “More than 10 reports”![]()
Respring isn’t user-initiated. Something crashes and the phone hiccups. You’ll typically see the little white spinner before it drops you back to the lock screen. What is the difference, if any between a "respring" & a "restart" of the iPhone? Thanks from an old dummy.
Also how to preform each please.
Try turning off Private Relay under iCloud in Settings.Beta 4 has been great for me in terms of improved battery life and glitches. I have noticed something strange on this beta that I haven’t had issues with before. Certain websites and apps won’t load over WiFi. I tried restarting my phone and resetting WiFi and it’s still not working correctly. Not a huge deal for me, but isn’t ideal to have to keep turning on and off WiFi.
