I didn't have an issue with b2, but b3 is working very well.
It straight up wouldn’t connect for me. My phone recognized that it was getting power, but CarPlay never started.

I’m gonna go try now, actually. I have driving I need to do tomorrow morning and it would be nice to have navigation and music again.

I had the same issue on Beta 2, CarPlay just completely stopped working.

Just tested it on Beta 3, and unfortunately still the same issue. CarPlay is completely dead. Phone is getting power from the USB though.

iPhone 15 Pro Max.

Not fixed: The issue where the control panel would reset (some?) home-control icons after a reboot.
Coming directly from 26.1 (with broken page of CC Home controls) to today’s 26.2 beta 3, after the first install/restart the Home controls were fixed, showing the properly configured buttons instead of ‘Choose Scene or Accessory’. Then after a restart due to a new App Library presentation bug, CC Home controls are broken again!

Safari/Passwords needlessly prompting for a username when signing into MacRumors and some other sites seems fixed though.

Installing a beta doesn't properly reboot the phone. I usually do a reboot a few minutes after every beta install, just because.

Same as you - icons were ok after the beta install, but reset to not working after my reboot.

Since when has this been a feature?

Still an aggravating problem for me. Most often occurs after a restart, but occasionally in between them. Only force quitting Safari restores normal function. When tapping on a bookmarks folder on my ipad, instead of the folder opening displaying the list of bookmarks within, as it should, I get this:

They have two weeks to make a polished RC version. I hope they manage to fix those annoying graphical glitches once and for all, because my eyes bleed every time I open a folder with dark icons jaja

The Mail send button/arrow now turns blue when you type in the send-to address and the subject field of a new message instead of remaining greyed out. So one of my bugs has been fixed, although it was caused by the first 26.2 beta, so I’d expect it to return anytime. No bugs prior to 26.2 have yet to be fixed. Come on 27.

I also just updated from 26.1 to 26.2b3. I haven't had any issues with control panel on iOS 26 and I also have Home controls in it. Have you tried to reset it in Settings->Control Center->Reset Control Center?

They all work for me until a reboot (not a beta install, an actual reboot).

My home controls, any for a specific (Hue) bulb, show the "home" icon and do nothing when clicked. I have to go into edit mode (it's got the correct config), change it to something else then back again to what it was. Then it works - until the next reboot.

I'm not going to do a reset as I can't be bothered to redo my entire control centre pages again. I'd rather have the Hue lights not controllable via the CC and wait (hopefully!) for a fix. Asking Siri to turn lights on and off still works well, which is what I tend to use anyway.

The icon borders are now solid. Only the borders of widgets, search bar, dock and folders are dynamically Liquid Glass. Even after a restart

Yes, multiple resets, also signed out and back into my Apple Account but the fix is only temporary.

Just to add: the five Home buttons on my favourites (heart) page have never been broken. Only a CC page dedicated to Home controls (house) does this.

Still too early to be confident but so far Spotlight conversions are still working and Safari’s tabs/url bar haven’t randomly started displaying in an ugly light grey using Dark Appearance.

On the Home Screen, app icons on the left of the | separator on the dock now have a working motion-controlled edge highlight. But when dragging the dock up over another app, only the dock edge highlight animates.

Spotlight is still SLOW AF to open. Swipe down, it takes a solid 2 seconds until the keyboard is ready to type.

My iPhone 7 running iOS 18 opens up spotlight with the keyboard in 0.5 seconds. This is so ridiculous.

You’re complaining about iOS 26, an unpolished and graphic intensive iOS, running on a 9 year old phone?

Why would you update your iPhone at all in the first place?
