This X3. Do I install the beta on my primary device? Don’t be surprised when I say yes.

Do i also know I’m Livin dangerously when I do so? Absolutely.

You installed a beta on your new device.

You climb a mountain in a thong, or sit in the dog park smelling like a T-Bone. In a thong (you, not the T-bone) you should expect to get bit.
Installed beta on brand new iPad ✅
Climbed a mountain in a Thong ❌

Field test still broken no cellid and band info as in 26.0
Not broken. Your carrier is broken. Sometimes it takes few hrs for it to show up.

Anyone experiencing more battery drain in this beta 3? Beta 2 was amazing for me, and since I installed Beta 3 I notice much more drain.

I had the phone connected to the charger while I was on phone, I had 100% , I disconnected it and literally two minutes after it went down to 96%. I restarted the phone and it went up to 99%

iPhone 17 Pro max

Friends hello! Can you test it please When the microphone is working, my screen glowing or become brighter . Look at this. Who can test please. Iph 16pm 26.2 beta 3. Maybe it’s normal or not??

Been having issue with the reception. Not sure if due to the beta - but I have 2 sims (physical and an eSIM) and both are experiencing some issues, like the signal drops and then restores immediately. It also circles between 3G, 4G and 5G.

I did a reset of the network settings and it seems a bit better but still not quite there.

Let’s hope it’s a temporary issue.

I had a new to me bug this morning. My sleep focus alarm went off with no sound. I seem to remember folks mentioned that in earlier iOS 26 versions/betas. I reported it to Apple. It’s kind of crazy they’re this deep into the iOS 26 minor versions and betas and breaking the basics.

Same here. I assume Spotlight is the thing/box which pops up when clicking or initiating a search?

Base iPhone 17, and it's instant.
Yes. Had to google it as well. For me it’s the simple search. Use it sometimes but not a heavy user.
First of all I had no idea what exactly Spotlight is on an iPhone. Sounded so heavy first. It’s the simple search and it works fine and quick.

Was your volume turned up?

Was your volume turned up?
Yup. I just let it alarm again since I had only snoozed it this morning so far. No sound. Specifically, it alarms with no sound while in standby mode (landscape, powered, no motion, not looking at it). I let it alarm while holding it and it made the proper sound, including reducing the volume based on attention detection. This only started in beta 3.

I honestly still can't see it mate
you couldn't see how the screen at the bottom gets a little brighter?
Also, when I scroll through my Instagram, the screen gets lighter and then back, like at the video, even if it's not an HDR photo or video. Is this normal?
I bought my first iPhone and I’m worrying🥺🥺🥺
Help me please get a piece of advice

What do you mean?

Been using CarPlay on my iPhone 17 Pro running iOS 26.1/.2 without issue. Got even better in 26.2 beta 1 or 2 in Maps where they removed all the extra padding 26 added to the UI.
CarPlay does not load. At all.

On top of that, when being forced to run Maps directly on my phone, Siri is being cut off. She either is muted until the last word or two of a direction, or gets cut off after a few seconds.

I set a timer this morning and the phone was sitting next to me face up. When the timer went off, there was no sound and the slider didn't work. I noticed the always on display was dimmed, so I tapped it to wake it up, then the slider worked.

Not the exact same as your alarm, but a similar issue. FB21079107

Anyone here using 1Password having issues? Noticing it’s saying my device is offline, and re-connecting is not working in the app.

Edit: looks like an issue on their end.

I have a working theory about the alarm with no sound. On the charger, my Apple Watch had a message on it saying the iPhone was not in range (it was about 2" away from the iPhone). I took it off the charger and put it on my wrist. The watch then cycled through the no phone in range message, to a swirling constellation of dots usually shown during initial pairing, then to the main watch screen. The crazy thing is that when I went to unlock it it was already unlocked. That shouldn't happen, it should have been locked.

So, my working theory is that because the watch thought it was unlocked without being on a wrist, it gave alarm sound priority to the watch. I think that's the intended behavior for sleeping with the watch on. It's still not right that the watch thought it was unlocked (should have locked between wrist over to the charger last night, should have locked when I moved it from the charger to my wrist this morning). The watch is still on iOS 18, so not a beta issue on the watch, but maybe the beta on my iPhone set up some abnormal state.

I rebooted everything and I'll see what happens tomorrow morning.
