I think they might have finally fixed a visual glitch in Notes.

If you use bullet points in a list they had a habit of only being visible in light OR dark mode, never in both. Usually I could see them as black when the background of the note was white, then when dark mode kicked in they’d vanish.

Just noticed that the bullets are currently grey on a black background.

Looks like we may be waiting QUITE A WHILE for this to be fixed. Wonderful of them to do this over the holidays..

For me, I'm now at 4 different model iPhones not working in 3 different cars. I'm happy for the folks that are still able to use this, though. I can't even connect my iPhone to listen to my own Christmas Music I have saved.
Did you check for a downloadable update for your car? this site may help. I don’t own a Chevy. Good luck https://thetechylife.com/how-do-i-update-my-chevy-mylink/

Thanks. Mine's a 2018 model and it's up to date. Chevy/GM doesn't even sell this car anymore and it's no longer under warranty. I bought a Wireless Adapter and am planning on trying that, but I'll check this page out. I do know how to update my Stereo, but generally have always done that OTA at home when it's connected to our WiFi.

---looks like you need to be an Employee at a Dealership or something so that you can have a login to get the software. Oh well.. Regardless, I'm almost 100% certain that the issue isn't with my Stereo. Any iPhone I've connected on 26.1 works, and on 26.2 does not. I've tried 4 iPhones now, and also tried 2 other cars- 3 in total.

Whelp! I bought this Wireless CarPlay BlueTooth adapter, and I'm finally able to use my iPhone 16 Pro Max again in my 7 year old car... I'll update my Feedback, too, but it does seem to be an issue then with the USB-C on the older cars. It'll be up to Apple again to "patch" that, because my car is still listed on the CarPlay support page...

A couple things I'm able to see now that I can use my iPhone in my car again with CarPlay-

I have a battery indicator now? Strange that the same car would display the battery with one connection and not with another connection. But I guess that's cool, considering I'm connecting wirelessly now and not charging my phone while connected...

When the CarPlay screen becomes active, I'm now hearing a song play that's not playing in any of my open apps on my iPhone, and both the CarPlay Music App and the iPhone Music app show a completely different song that's paused. The Control Center now playing option also shows the same Not-Playing song.. No idea where this other song is playing from, but the only way for me to stop it was to actually just play something else and then pause that.

I mean, at least I can use my iPhone again in my car, but geez...

I think there's only one logical explanation for all the carplay issues you've been having.

There's a very tiny person hiding in your rear footwell, who has an iPhone, and is pranking you by connecting their phone to carplay wirelessly to (a) stop your wired connection from working in parallel and (b) play songs from their playlist once connected.

There is no other explanation that fits as well.

Can’t begin to explain the music playing. But the battery indicator has always been been that way - shows on wireless connection, but not on a wired on section. It’s exactly as you suggest - when you’re plugged in, you are charging the phone and with a wireless connection, your phone is running off of battery.

Could this be the same very tiny person inside all of my devices that insists on misspelling most words I type in the Messages app?

I can only assume so! Seems like these gremlins have some sort of hive mind where they’re able to systematically impact us all in the same ways. They must follow some kind of playbook.

Using clear icons in 26.2 is now laggy as hell on my iPad Pro even after many restarts. Swiping up to show the dock or using App Library delays or stutters like crazy. Even on iPhone the App Library is like 20fps when entering and exiting App Library folders. This was butter smooth on 26.1.

But iPad is basically a lottery on if a swipe up will show the dock or close the app. That’s how long the delay is.

Switching icons to standard seems to fix it but still. Liquid Glass is like a lost teen trying to find themselves. Every single update something glitches or changes with it.
