Man it is taking forever to install WatchOS 26.3 B1…. Also took an oddly long amount of time to download the IPSW for iOS 26.3…

iPad Pro 11 M4
Safari is still a mess from 26.2. New one for Safari and Password …. Logged into an account and the password had expired. Updated it, then manually updated it in Password (auto-update on change never triggered.). When I went to log in, it put in the old password even though when I looked it showed the new update. A reboot fixed the issue.

Control Center - Voice Memo disappeared. Had to re-add.

Odd one - I use my OnePlus 80w charger and cable (red 😁) and now for a new one I am getting a “slow charger” alert. (see attached)

Spell Check is pushing proper names 🙄

Before anyone asks, the icon redrawing has not changed. Haven’t seen any changes yet on my ipad. I’m quite certain now that the redrawing will be an ios 27 thing, if it gets addressed.

Mine were fixed about 3 betas ago on my iPhone. Never experienced them on my iPad though.

Good god iOS 26 is a mess.

UI issues abound.
I just tried to log into a web site on which I had just created a user name and password with Apple’s Passwords app in 26.2… and the website informed me either the email or password is incorrect. IOS/IPadOS/macOS 26 isn’t bricking my machine or causing entire systems to fail. But it’s tons of little problems like this.

I find that iOS 26 certainly is peppered with many, many small UI glitches. The core functionality, for my daily uses, is very solid and stable at least.

The UI Design leadership seems to be changing at Apple though. I foresee things improving in the UI due to this. Might take until iOS 27 until we see appreciable updates and fixes though - it takes a long time to turn a ship as big as Apple, with multiple glitchy UI designs.

I’m happy that there’s light at the end of this, very long, tunnel.

How does the performance compare to version 26.2? Does it run just as smoothly or even better?

Amusingly it’s already more usable than 26.2 for me. I had no issues with every beta of 26.2 but when I went onto the RC, Siri outright stopped working. It would reply to every single request by complaining about a connection issue.

On this beta Siri is working again, I don’t use it often but it’s how I pick music when driving etc.

Why? I’ve always used betas on my watch without any problems.
The problem is that when you have an issue, you have to send it to apple for a downgrade. I installed a beta just once on my watch and had to go to an Apple Store for them to send it to another country just for a downgrade.

I saw on Reddit that you can fix it by creating a new weather wallpaper screen. This will get the allow location dialog to pop up. Once you approve you can use you old wallpaper and it should work again.

I don’t use this wallpaper, but thought I would share what I saw.

I appreciate the info thank you.
