A bug that was in B1 and carries to B2: typing a search into the Safari address bar and hitting enter just goes to a blank screen. Whatever you typed into the search bar is gone and if you start typing it again, it’ll show in the history with a timestamp like it was a completed search.

Yep. Nothing new and they still haven’t fixed the iMessage photo gallery issue.

If you want a temporary fix, switch your search engine to something other than Google and you shouldn’t run into the issue as often or at all.

If you switch to DuckDuckGo, you should be able to add ‘!g’ to your search to force it to become a Google search while avoiding the iOS issue.

I appreciate the suggestion but it’s not frequent or annoying enough to warrant a switch. I’ll keep an eye out through future betas and keep the forum up to date.

This is a bug I've sporadically had for several years, no matter if beta or non-beta. It has gotten more rare though.

Sorry you're experiencing that. I haven't experienced it in B1 or B2.

No change to missing ringer sound on incoming calls on iPhone SE2020. Still displays call notification and rings at nearby Mac but no ring on phone itself.

Yep, this is the single most infuriating bug for me.
Hate to say it, but this has been recurring since the 26.0 beta cycle.

I have something similar with FaceTime calls.

My iPhone 17 screen shows the incoming call (and my laptop shows it and immediately rings if it's on), but there's a delay of a few seconds (5-10 ish) before the phone rings.

Yup, hate it when this happens.

Anyone have an issue with notifications staying persistent on lock screen? For example I’ll get a notification for Messenger, I’ll open the app and respond etc but the notification itself won’t go away and stays in my lock screen.

Eventually will say I have 60+ messages from one person despite already opening and responding
I'm still on 26.2 and am seeing the same thing, specifically with Facebook Messenger. I'm guessing it's a bug within the app itself since it's the only app I'm experiencing this with but who knows for certain.

I’ve had this issue with iOS 26.2 with Google Search. Seems to be a Google bug somehow? Switched to another search engine and issue is gone on a non-beta phone.

I hope it will be solved as soon as possible, I recently bought an iPad Pro M5 and after restoring the backup I had the same problem. I solved it in part by activating the messages in iCloud that forced indexing, made the photo tab appear in the contact info and downloaded most of the photos but many boxes in the images remain gray and if I touch one of these, the loading icon completed by three quarters appears but does not download it and does not show it. I have no more ideas

Nice and smooth so far on my 17 Pro. Also on my second one, the base 13 it’s solid.
No huge difference to 26.2. Hope to see some further refinements for animations and the Liquid Glass elements with the next versions.

Apple emailed me regarding a modem error and dropped calls I was experiencing since the iOS 26.1 update. They said they've made changes and improvements and hope the problem is resolved. Although they didn't mention iOS 26.3 beta 2, I understand that's where these improvements were made, because the email arrived half an hour after the second beta's release. What's surprising is that my report isn't among the few known reports of the same issue. Even so, they must have looked into it and noticed something in the logs to take the time to make these improvements.
