iOS 26.3 Beta 2 ― Bug Fixes, Changes, and Improvements

Hoping a fix for the Sports app not giving audible notifications for NHL hockey game score changes. Only game start and periods end work.

I’ve had this for a while, can’t remember when it started, it may have been 26.0 even
 
Honestly, if someone told me I had iOS 26.2.1 on my iPhone, I'd believe them. There are very few new features, and the bugs and errors are still there haha
 
Anyone has the issue where the phone will not lock after the 30 seconds, or whatever that's on Screen and Brightness, on Auto lock setting? I have screen always on activated!
Very annoying and very battery consuming?

Correct, Liquid Crystal selection bar (does it have a better name?), and thinner buttons, but when toggled, there is no LG animation.

Yeah, I’m running iOS 26.2 (23C55) on A15 devices and I’m quite astonished at how good battery life is. Lasts longer than on iOS 18.7, and the device rarely gets warm, much less hot. It’s usually pretty cool.

So............after a few days to settle down and sort it's sh*t out, Beta 2 is running like a dream on my 16PM. No bugs, hang-ups, re-springs, glitches etc etc. Battery life is bonkers. Ok, so I'm a light-ish user, but I charged my phone to 100% yesterday at 10:46, I've since listened to music on a 2 our walk, an hour or two on YouTube and various SM, local news, Find My etc, and today I went on a 20 mile bike ride whilst listening to music.

I have many on-screen notifications going all the time. My camera has also been snapping away. Anyway, after all that, I still have 79% battery with 3 hours 50 mins SOT.

This is the best my 16PM baddery has been.

I’m running this beta on a 17 Pro. My experience has been a lot like yours.

Regarding battery, I’m definitely getting very good battery life. But one thing I’ve noticed is that the remaining charge displayed does not decrease much during the first few hours of active use, giving me the false impression that I could get maybe 20 hours of battery life on a single charge. But after 3 or 4 hours of use, the remaining charge % displayed starts dropping faster. In the end, I’m getting 10 or more hours per charge, just not as much as the displayed battery indicator would suggest during those first few hours of usage.

I've now narrowed down when this happens. I have the "Driving" focus off, but it is when I drive that the "Sleep" focus gets turned on until I turn it off. Weird issue. Wondering if anyone has noticed the same?
