Every visual bug I’ve reported through iOS 26.3 betas is still present. Shame.

Curious, have you done a restore and tried setting up your device as new without using a backup? Most visual issues tend to be .plist based issues that can be resolved by either doing a "Restore All Settings" to erase all .plists and keep all your data or a complete restore/factory reset and not using a back up.

No I haven’t and I’m not going to.. That would require a lot of work to restore all apps and settings. Some bugs have been fixed since the release of iOS 26 so I hope the rest will follow some day.

Maybe it is for some but a reset all settings just resets settings and maintains all your data, and it is something that I have done every iOS release and it tends to speed up the phone and even free up space since .plist files can get bloated.

As for a restore without a back up, all your data basically syncs with iCloud anyway so a back up is more so about maintaining your setup and settings than anything else.

I think both of those steps are well worth it for performance, battery life and even storage benefits. An annual "spring cleaning" if you will.

A restore is more work to come back from since you have to redownload all your apps but a reset all settings is a great way to bring your iOS back to a clean setup without losing your data/apps/etc the only things that will need to be reconfigured are your personal settings like location, notifications, etc. but even this step can have a huge different on performance and issues like the ones you're reporting.

They say important bug fixes,, but never say which bugsbecause the bugs are emotional now. Build numbers climb like they'r escaping something. Darwin kernel quietly evolving while wee argue about battery life. Release candidate means it already had chose a side. The modem firmware knows where you’ve ben before like a n man.

For those saying how easy it is, do note that doing a system restore (even if you then restore the backup) means re-authenticating every banking app and related wallet cards. Also make sure any eSIMS aren't trashed in the process.
Wallet cards are now being added without any extra hoops, at least in the US. I guess they upgraded their authentication process, and if it’s on a previously used device, then there should be minimal to zero extra steps involved. Barely had to enter anything manually when I set up my new 17P from scratch.
Banking apps, though, there’s the basic login and then 2FA before you set up Face ID which is not big deal if you have the creds saved in the Passwords app.
I remember it being more complicated in Europe, though.

Is anyone else on the RC seeing that their phone app reverted to the "older" style of tabs/display and doesn't have an option to return it to the newer layout that was added in iOS 26?

edit: the option was under the "Recents" tab - not sure why the RC reverted me to the older style, but I was able to change it back to the unified appearance once I found that

I just restored my iPhone last week and I still had to call my bank to verify my debit card for Apple Pay so this is not true in every case

I can't possibly speak for every possible scenario, obviously.

Some banks adhere to different security protocols than others, and if you're frequently removing and re-adding cards, that's going to trigger a flag requiring manual verification. How long the cards have been associated with your Apple account also plays a role.

My Chase, Discover, and BofA cards got added and authenticated with zero input, including the CVV codes, since I have the info saved in Safari autofill.

Plus, 99.99% of users don’t actually notice these bugs…I certainly don’t. I understand why they are low on the priority list.
It’s kind of a "once you see it, you can't un-see it" situation. When you notice one, it starts to irk you when it doesn't get fixed for months/years on end. Some stuff is super obvious too, when like your keyboard disappears in Messages and the text box is just floating there and you have to totally kill and reopen the app to get the keyboard back lol

Honestly just glad they fixed parallax on the home screen after it was broken for like 2-3 years

CarPlay works…

Except now they broke something else relating to it.

If you use CarPlay on the RC, when you unplug your phone from it, it strips away any tinting you had on your icons.

You have to manually reset your tint every time. Rebooting doesn’t fix it.

I think what you’re describing is a normal iOS keyboard - I find it’s always been the same. Feels the same to me now as in every other release. Perhaps you’re more sensitive to the small changes with it though. I always make mistakes.
I dunno. Back in the day I could type like a ************ on an iPhone. Now, it’s a constant struggle and it makes me not want to text/type at all lol.
