The only thing I can complain about right now is a small stutter when swiping between Home Screen pages.

The concerts feature in Music is pretty sweet…

Hi everyone,
First time seeing that bug pop up (or is it a bug really?)
After updating and on first charge since the update, iPhone will say "Slow Charger" and it will indeed charge very slowly, more than 2 hours to reach above 80%. I'm sure it's great for the battery but not ideal at all. I thought the culprit was the cable so I bought a new one, rated for fast charging and yet the issue is still here. A soft restart does not help either. If it is software-related, that would be one of the first properly 'annoying' bugs I have ever encountered while testing and I might consider downgrading for that one.

Unless it's not software... I don't know. Has anyone else seen this?
Just checked and I have the same issue with 14 pro, it does a fast charge only for the first minute or two and then switches to slow charging, even though I'm at 30%. This is with Apple's brick and cable.
Edit: Also happens with Anker's 30w brick, but charging through MacBook is unaffected.

Got scared and went to check if this had come back. Horrible bug.

No such thing here on a 17 Pro.
iPhone 17 Pro here and can 100% reproduce home screen stutter when switching between an app & home screen via the app switcher which causes stutter when swiping between home screens.

There are multiple feedback reports on this with Apple and each having “more than 10 similar reports”.

Had to restore 26.3. The 26.4 beta blew up my 16PM, the System Date grew within 24h after installation to 150GB leaving only less than 1GB free, which caused the iPhone to be not longer useable. Could only restore as the space didn't allow to reload the beta. But same - after 24h System Data filled the whole iPhone storage. (The load from the iCloud took more than 8h and left the phon burning hot.)

Decided to run the pain again a second time but this time restored to 26.3 - iCloud Backup loaded perfectly in less than 4h and after now 24h System Data is still at roughly 40GB as it should be.So be careful an be sure to have an updated iCloud Backup before trying it.

Hey, so I managed to get my iPhone to fast charge normally, then tried again a bit later and it’s back to showing “slow charger” same cable though. So I’m pretty sure it’s a software issue then. I will flag it in the Feedback app but if you wondered if there was something wrong with your charger, I would say no and it’s probably software related. A beta is a beta after all, I just don’t understand what causes iOS to believe it’s a slow charger because it’s supposed to detect the voltage output.

My system data is taking up less than 20GB. The only thing I can think of is that iCloud has downloaded all the photos and they're taking up more space than my iPhone has. Lately, I've noticed that iCloud has downloaded all my photos, but since they're taking up less space than my iPhone has, it's not a problem.

Photos took extremely long to synchronize but I always set to not keep local copies but use iCloud

EDIT:
trying to update the 14PM which is based on the same iCloud Backup ... (has currently only 1.02GB System Data)

I also have the automatic management option, which in theory only keeps the most recent or most used photos locally, and the rest are just a preview. But the reality is that all my photos are downloaded and saved to my internal memory because they're already there. Although iOS disguises and hides this, if I disable the automatic option and tell it I want a copy of all photos and videos on my phone, it simply changes the display of what's taking up space in photos, but it doesn't download anything because they're already downloaded to the phone. Furthermore, iCloud has been failing in this regard lately, at least for me, and I've seen many days where I get a message saying it's syncing all media again even though it's already synced.

my Photos wouldn't even fit on the device if I would decide to keep them on the phone ...
Weird..

the 14PM (on 26.4) shows 7.9 GB and the 16PM (on 26.3) shows 7.2 GB used by the Photos App

I have "Optimize iPhone storage" selected in the Photos App settings

EDIT: the Photos library on my Mac is roughly 18GB
