This is such a lackluster reveal.

Only available for select carriers and only between iPhones (good luck finding someone that has e2ee RCS enabled and iMessage disabled).

Also, seemingly no UP 2.7 features, so Apple just says F*** it and s**ts on the spec / standard they paraded around years ago when revealing RCS was coming "we‘ll abide to the standard as specified by UP". Lame.

I said it in another thread but: download size display has been bugged since the iOS 26 beta. It'll actually download much less. After downloading and before installing, you can check how much was actually downloaded under General > iPhone Storage.
